Hey Alan I'm glad to see you made it pretty much without any problem it could have been a lot worse. Up here where I live in Washington State we are still having all the forest fires and still have a lot of smoke All Summer Long but we're getting through it. I wish you guys luck down there. Wow, that was an awesome video with great coverage! My friends over in Safety Harbor are still without electric. Those crossings look like old abandoned railroads. I hope the trains start running there today. Looking forward to the tour also!

Those crossings are interesting. The same thing happened here in Asheville nc in 2004. One of the pictures shows the crossing; down, and with lights on tho. Maybe different circumstances, here it was flooded and triggered the crossings. In the video the battery ran out, so the gear box would not hold up the gates anymore. I bet if you tried to lift it up it would be easy, but it would just fall back down.

Come to San Diego! We have AMAZING railroad crossings and trains! We also have a small rail yard in downtown. Lots of WC Hayes and Saferan as well! Be safe! Hope you are able to railfan in my hometown of San Diego! Plus SD is home of the Padres. ( PETCO park) I am also a Subscriber and really liked this devastating footage

It is almost like it never happened but about 25 dollars worth of spoiled food in the freezer that went bad for no power. yes the low pressure of the storm had an effect on the cats. but everything is now back to normal. Thank you

Wow that was a pretty crazy storm pretty crazier than tropical storm Isaias When tropical storm Isaias hit us the power went out at 11:15 a.m. in the morning which the storm was finishing up we saw down trees telephone poles and railroad crossing gate damage the power came back at 6:59 p.m. the only family member who had power was my grandmother in Norristown but everybody else lost power the storm wasn't that dangerous but we stayed home

this is Crazy this Reminds me back in April where part of Canada got Flooded because of all the Rain we had there's was No Hurricane that Ripped though Canada otherwise if it did I would see it Rip through New Brunswick/Nova Scotia or Newfoundland/Labrador I live in Ontario though so if we had 1 coming to Ontario I could see it turn into a Tropical Storm and what happened to Irma but it started to vanished once it reached the Border of the US to Canada
