I was like 6 or 7 during Irma. I was crying when my parents started to evacuate from Miami. My parents were in complete chaos. We went as far as Tennessee to escape this thing. I remember coming back and there being no power in our house and some trees & power lines fell, alomg with some flooding. Thank god nothing HORRIBLE happend here unlike the keys. I hope everyone stays safe and evacuates if told to do so. It saved my familys' friend's lives. Stay safe during hurricane season, i cant express how important that is.

When me and my family moved from Kentucky to the east coast we didn’t know that we were gonna be moving during a hurricane then when we arrived to the house over 7 trees fell onto the moving truck then we lost power for 2 weeks then 2months later we got a snow storm that Gave us 2ft of snow (I guess we brought the storms 😂

i was on the rural coast of south georgia and lost power for 8 days and still had to go to school about 4 days after it hit. so that sucked😂 plus it was homecoming week. but it is absolutely insane how bad Puerto Rico was hit.
