When me and my family moved from Kentucky to the east coast we didn’t know that we were gonna be moving during a hurricane then when we arrived to the house over 7 trees fell onto the moving truck then we lost power for 2 weeks then 2months later we got a snow storm that Gave us 2ft of snow (I guess we brought the storms 😂

i was on the rural coast of south georgia and lost power for 8 days and still had to go to school about 4 days after it hit. so that sucked😂 plus it was homecoming week. but it is absolutely insane how bad Puerto Rico was hit.

KxmariPlayz They get their names from NOAA, when weather SATS catch sight of the hurricane, NOAA essentially goes “BOOM. this hurricane is now named this.” If the hurricane is bad enough, ECT, hurricane Harvey, then the name will be retired, IE, they will never use it again. Originally in the fifties and sixties, they were named after callsign letters, IE, A-alpha B-beta Z-Zulu. But since there are only 26, they started using random names. NOAA switches between male and female names every hurricane.
