I'm a native from Florida, born and raised 18 years, and I've been in NC about as long. This is the first time in my life I've ever heard a professional, non-sensationalized report of a hurricane. Professionals speaking to people like we're actual adults, stating the severity but not fear-mongering. Not having a big ego, trying to pretend like they're omniscient, but instead actually letting us know, hey, not all models show the same thing, here's our best "prediction," but also it might shift a bit. The constant catastrophizing is exactly why people don't take any storms seriously. Thank you!👍

NE pure is 45 degrees NE at 55 degrees is 10 degrees different, the further away the larger that wedge grows. Explaining why Milton will aim further south, Sarasota or more down the coast. It would need NE at 35-40 degrees to correct to get into Tampa bay with the full surge earlier projected. I am amazed at how imprecise the NOAA Hurricane Center information is applied by different news sources. WFLA frequently has wrong or mis-labelled information on it's screens. AM and PM are DIFFERENT!!! NE and ENE are different. Every Noaa report gives the actual degree of the current track. That alone was essential available information. Try using it.

I recognize that a bump South is not good for those areas. But I strongly believe that a direct hit, or worse, a bit North of Tampa Bay, will shove all of the ocean into the Bay because of the spinning direction of the storm. Every bit to the South makes it more likely to pull some water out instead. I don't live in Florida; but even I know that it would be a devastating and record breaking storm surge if it doesn't alter tracks at least a little to the South. All of Florida will feel the repercussions if Tampa Bay receives the worst case scenario. That track would also cause the most damage to Disney.

Sorry, this is just wrong. His graphic at 3:04 shows "strongest winds gusts 100 MPH+" next to a big area of read. Forcasters expect Milton to hit the coast of Florida as a Category 3. A Cat 3 hurricane, on the Saffir-Simpson scale, ranges from 111 to 129 mph. That already is beyond the "100mph" he showed. PLUS, guests usually go much higher, often easily 30mph+ more than the sustained winds of the Cat 3 range. PLUS, tornadoes very often occur in and around hurricane as they pass over an area. I've been through many, and we see this when there one or several houses completely demolish, with other houses nearby with far less damage. So its VERY misleading to tell people to only expect 100mph "+" winds over that whole area. People may get killed because of this type of misinformation.
@cynthiatrahan73722 сағат бұрын
Don't expect anything- it's pushing too much water-water won't change
@peacefindersimply5001Сағат бұрын
It’s not misinformation, those max speeds are in very small areas which meteorologists always clarify, also wind speed on land is lower then max speed aloft which is measured to show hurricanes strength. Also, it’s storm surge which is most dangerous not winds.

□ Tactics to fight hurricanes and minimize the damage: - - We could deploy a fleet of drones to release cooling agents into the ocean, aiming to lower sea surface temperatures and weaken an approaching hurricane. - The military could use experimental technology to create artificial high-pressure systems, hoping to steer the hurricane away. - We could use cloud seeding to weaken a hurricane. - We could use weather control devices - We could use a combination of underwater bubbles and aerosols to disrupt the hurricane’s formation, that’d need a lot of computational power to predict the formation and trajectory of future hurricanes. - We could create artificial barriers in the ocean to redirect a hurricane. Or to minimize the damage of the hurricane inland we could use dolos on the shoreline. - We could project satellite-based lasers to alter the path of a hurricane. - Plant underwater explosives to try and disrupt the hurricane’s formation. - We could use high-altitude balloons to disperse chemicals that will weaken the hurricane. - Scientists can attempt to alter the jet stream using high-altitude aircrafts. - We could use large-scale atmospheric pressure changes to divert a hurricane.

Your in-house model is bogus. It's going further south than that.

Who are you weirdos praying to? Buddah? Vishnu? Witchcraft? Voodoo? Satan? Who???? None of you believe in the 1 Creator, so your prayer won't work. 😂😂😂

Neither will yours, given the heart you're displaying. This isn't speaking the truth in love. It's condemnation you've no right to levy. Take the plank out your own eye.

Woah, with that ego and putting yourself on a pedestal, your prayer won’t either.
