I watched Mt St Helen's from our backyard blow on my birthday in May 1980, which I thought was pretty exciting. Watching from 40 miles away was nothing compared to the birthday you're having! We legitimately are praying for your safety as well as all Floridiand's, and I'm also including some prayer for your property and vehicles. Right now I'm sure you're out of power at the very least and I hope you guys, I mean y'all are safe!!

Just a tip if cell towers go down and you want updates, you can hook up your tv to your generator and hook up a tv antenna to your tv and scan for over-the-air channels and get local channels that include local news stations. If you don't have an antenna you can make one by taking a coax cable and cutting off one end exposing the metal wire inside and wrap that wire around a metal clothes hanger.

Happy Hurricane Birthday Adam, it's the 10th October now and man this storm is really serious for you good folks I wish you well brother take care of your family and the dog as he will be scared with all the noise, I know you get some lovely weather compared to where I am but I don't envy you having these hurricane's and tornados😬 We have had 100mph winds here in the UK but that was back in the late 70's which did a lot of damage to the house but we are so lucky. You all right? We dodged the bullet. 75 mph winds, lots of rain, I had 3 pieces of soffit come loose. Everything else was fine. I was really surprised that the pool cage didn't get damaged.
