God never promises nothing bad will ever happen to us . He totally allows things to happen to people. It's not that he doesn't love us. He created the good and the bad . That is scripture. He wants us as people to care for each other in the hard times and take care of each other. If we love others we are doing his will . Time and chance happen to all . Also in scripture. We need to all be servants to eachother. Can you imagine a world where we all took care of each other instead of being out for ourselves . But we have free will , God will never force us to follow him . And if we choose to, we should walk like we talk , not just talk. There's so much going on right now, I believe things will get worse and worse like scripture says until the end of all things which I think is sooner than we realize. Regardless of what you believe or if you have a relationship with jesus or not ,what kind of people should we be ?

A 10 to 12 foot storm surge doesn't sound terrible, but keep in mind, salt water is heavier than fresh water so if you live next to a river (especially one that is swollen from rain), the storm surge will act as a dam, forcing the river level to rise as it tries to overcome the surge. This will increase the water level above the surge and could possibly double the water level.
