yes, I live in Acapulco and we learnt it was cat 5 only like 12 hrs prior Very weird hurricane, not much water as one would expect, but some NASTY wind gusts, The anemometer located infront of San Diego Fortress measured gusts above 200mph being the fastest 205 mph around 1 AM. Im afraid this is the new normality.. lets not forget "patricia" hurricane.. a monster that reached 400 kmh gusts, luckily it weaken befor landfall

NC won’t be out of their mess until 2025 sometime and here we go again with another devil eye!! If you live in Florida and aren’t 100% prepared for these storms, u may not belong there. I’d hope people would have hurricane structures and a place to shelter in an emergency. At the very least I’d have a couple weeks of water, dry canned food and a whole home generator. Solar backup, surely people in these areas prepare. North Carolinians are still in need of the most basic necessities. It’s a sad situation with people begging for help.
