Agreed, I honestly have never seen him play like this, I don’t know what has gotten into him. Tkachuk, Montour, Bennett, Bobrovsky, Reinhardt, Barkov, having historical playoffs here. Duclair, just to name a few. Those are some big names, with big talent and they work hard and play hard, and are a little nasty as well. I think fans forget, I know I do because they are in Florida, I rarely see their games. It’s no wonder they are winning. I think Vega$ or Dallas if they can pull of a miracle will be just as mean and physical though so it should be interesting. We’ll see if Tkachuk, Montour, Bennett and Bobrovsky are targeted. They have been keys to success, so we’ll see what happens. If it’s Vega$ they will be taking runs at those guys, you can bet on that 🙂

It’s hard for non players to understand what keep your head up means. It basically means you are aware a hit is about to happen and you are taught to hit back in essence. Oh, a Concussion. That’s Ok it’s the NHL. Probably don’t even need a penalty.

Just like in any contact sport, you can get a concussion on a hit that does not hit the head. Unless you want to get rid of all body checking.

Slavin's head hit the board. That's what gave him the concussion. It was a Clean hit, but the damage was just brutal. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP ALWAYS~!

NHL Rule Book 42.1 "Charging shall mean the actions of a player or goalkeeper who, as a result of distance traveled, shall violently check an opponent in any manner" Hmmm, distance travelled? Bennett was targeting him from around the blue line to the back of the net, if that is not far enough for distance travelled I'd like to know.

start watching at 1:09 and pause at 1:10 when bennet turns around and you can see him smiling and than changes expression when he sees camera is showing him. He is definitely out there trying to injure players. The league lets him get away with it too. he only got a slap on the wrist for the headshot he did on bunting, not once, but twice. What a corrupt league.
