I love that this song has that sense of dread the original final escape didn't. The feeling and distress that you chase your victim across a magnified version of a map, as pieces of checkpoints, marks, and level terrain all fly around you... this song keeps it all.

The means of transport depicted in the illustration are very appropriate: The warp whistle tornado not only is cheap, but... it's a tornado that could swallow you up As for the Raccoon Leaf, it grants you flight for as long as you run, making it fitting for running away from certain death

Danly's final escape take isn't my personal favorite but damn. This is one damn good remix ya got there bud, also I loved the intro, the fact that because of the flute he turns into a tornado and toad has to run through the world map to get away from him is so clever like holy shit, this is an absolute banger of a video! i was actually thinking of making a final escape smb3 mix at some point and now that i think about it the design i imagined basically looked like the original design in Warped the story was basically if the shell landing on Mario's head on the title screen did a bit more to him, and he's trying to get revenge on the player as if they caused it
