I just had a thought. You know how sometimes you just think about everything that's horrible in your life? Or everything that has happened and just start crying? As we all have seen, in the sports festival Todoroki bursts into flames after Midoriya's famous line of "it's your quirk not his" that can be seen as that Todoroki's emotions can be tied to his quirk. Which, actually makes sense seeing that adrenaline in real life can be caused by emotion, etc etc. We all know that Todoroki literally seems to live in and has been through hell. So, what if he was sitting at home or even doing his early morning workout, suddenly thinks about everything that has happened, and then just bursts into a wild fire. And ice spikes shoot up from the ground also? Like, HOW BIG WOULD THAT FIRE BE.

I know lot of people hate Endeavor but like the part you see at 2:20, he almost die. And the next second that his fighting scenes is on TV. Midoriya and Yaoyorozu look shocked, they were looking at Todoroki and Todoroki seems worried for his father too. I don't wanna spoil what makes Todoroki cared about his father and what was going so I could only give you this theory like I said in this comment. Todoroki worried for Endeavor after Endeavor almost die. So that's means he forgive his father and waiting for the suitable moment to give his father another chance to make up everything Endeavor has done in the past

I love the idea that Todoroki associates both blue/white and red with pain, and green with happiness. It just fits so well with his experiences.
