I love your refreshing approach to potty training, i've got twins and they were ready six months apart, I didn't push either in any way and fully embraced that one of them wasn't ready and that it was ok and let them get there in their own time. I agree it's much easier when they understand and are ready to do it, fantastic to hear this talked about as it's so normal x

@@OrdinaryEnglishMum yes and no, there was interest from him like natural curiosity what his sister was doing and he'd join in clapping when she used the potty but he just wasn't ready so we didn't push it and just tried every few weeks until one day he was keen to do it and we never looked back. Both were dry in just a few days as we'd waited until they were ready and understood what was going on. I don't think there's an ideal age as it varies from child to child and i'd rather wait a little longer than put them through any distress or frustration unnecessarily. I just think they're only little for such a short time so why rush anything? xx

Have you thought about the health part of living in the states. Theres no nhs there especially when there are so many of you all ? Thats a big factor isnt it.

We have thought of it but none of it is properly looked into or something we will definitely do and we would take all of that into consideration if we moved but it definitely wouldn't be anytime soon xx

When you answered the how much do you spend on food and drink per month,it seems you only used how much you spend in local grocery stores.what about all the Hello fresh meals? You seem to have 3 a week of those,how much monthly for them and what size meal plan do you purchase from the hello fresh.

Ahhh OK I work with Hello Fresh so my meals with them are part of that. We get a box for 4 adults and it does our whole family xx

That was a sweet q&a. I love not sending your children to nursery too young. We didn’t send our kids either and it was great. And when they went to school they did really good so it definitely don’t hurt them.

Sometimes we have no choice cos we have to work. Not fair to make people feel guilty for putting their kid(s) in nursery.

@@Tollingduckie absolutely not meant to make anyone feel guilty. Just saying it worked for us not at all saying it’s the way it should be for everyone. The last thing I would ever do is to make a person feel bad about what they are doing. We all do what works best for our family and our specific situation. I am sure without a benefit of a doubt you are doing what works for your sweet family.

That's nice to hear you didn't send your children. I think it's become a normal thing for everyone to do even if the parents are home and only now have I realised I don't need to. I also don't mean it it any bad way to anyone who sends their children it isn't wrong to, I sent my first 3 anyway but some things work for some that don't for others xx

Not at all I want my children as much as my husband so i don't feel used. I dont think I need a backup plan? I'll live as i do now with a little less income perhaps
