Instead of beating her, the husband should get psychiatric help for her, because when people are depressed, they stop cleaning and start hoarding. It's a mental health issue. She needs some meds and therapy. TLC and support goes a long way to their recovery.

Look people their are grown people and they can clean up their own mess I have seizures since going on 17 years old and now 48 years old and a bad hip and broke half the bones in my body and been cheated and my husband passed away and fall daily but my home stays clean and mess free their are just lazy people and I don't need help and nobody pity also so your comment you can go to h#ll on and I will give it 6 months up a year and it will be messy again but amazing job guys

я бы ума лишилась. Мне в новый дом.в новую квартиру( полгода как дом заселили), кто-то из гостей притащил клопа. Заметила быстро.и понеслось! я сделала обработку... Всю новую мебель. полностью, раздала бесплатно за один день. Заболела, еле ходила...инфоркт, такой психоз получила. Купила матрас и спала на нём. Через две недели снова обработку и только через месяц начала обзаводится новой мебелью. А тут такой ... даже слов нет!

Sometimes when people are depressed, they loose enthusiasm and energy to do work or home chores. Depressed people get suicidal because they feel down on what's going on in their life. They clean, you help clean. Don't depend on one person to do everything. Just because you are a. man, doesn't mean you can't help your wife to clean. It's a partnership and you have to help each other. Cleaning is everyone's responsibility, not just the wife's duty. You don't use your mouth to scold or physically beat someone, you help them and encourage them and offer support.
