Very cute skewers! When I recently visited Japan I was surprised how inexpensive food - and specifically quail eggs were in the market. I would use them all of the time if I was there!

Question: I see lots of quail eggs in Japanese cooking! Do people also eat quail meat?

Quail eggs are richer in iron, folic acid, vitamin A, and other nutrients than chicken eggs, so Japanese people have been eating quail eggs for a long time:)
