So the wife thought success is measured in wealth, when success is measured by achievingf the things that are important to you. She still had everything that was important, she forgot what it was, and taking it for granted was truly what almost sabotaged everything in her life. Taking things for granted, those are the things we end up missing the most when they're gone.

24:34 People that humiliate others are narcissistic and they don't have regard for anyone else except for themselves. If they ever get a wake up call, which is rare , 23:44 they'll change, maybe. My wife treated me the same as in this story. She constantly belittled me, everything was my fault. I couldn't do one damn thing that didn't follow up with her berating me. You would think that I was a devil but I always treated her good. I put up with her BS for 28 years but we were married for 41 years but I got so tired of it and finally divorced her.

One aspect of this story I liked...it was NOT a rehash of other marital/relationship stories on YT. Bases on some comments I have read for other stories...there seems to be a practice of "borrowing" a story from another poster..some storyline changes/locations/names/etc...but really..the same basic story as posted by another.
