I love this, it's super cute. I've seen In A Heartbeat several times. It would be so amazing if the short was expanded upon and made into a full length feature. I remember crying my heart out the first time I watched the animated short film. It is truly a work of art. I hate how so many people can relate to the fear of admitting their love because of things like gender or being scared of other people's reactions. This short film captures all the chaotic feelings of falling in love; its beauty, the hardships and the mixed emotions it brings to each person. It can only be described as a work of art.

i don't usually like watching animated things like this, i don't really know why i just don't, but even i loved this one, you are both so right about being able to see and even feel the emotions portrayed in this film, i could almost feel the ginger boy's yearning as his crush walked by, the panic as his heart chased after his crush, the pure embarrassment when his crush realised that ginger liked him in that way and that the whole school/college knew it too, then the joy and relief when his crush gave him his other heart half back and his too began to feel the same way ! this short little film had so many emotions in it and it was just so beautifully done !

Imagine going over forty years, after fully realizing that you are gay to be able to see anything like this. I loved the way you guys reacted to this. When I was a kid I literally was Sherwin, the redhead in the film, complete with the messed up red hair, and skinny with freckles, and very afraid to let anyone know how I felt.

My favorite little detail was the part when the redhaired boy is sitting behind the tree sad, the dark haired boy came and reached out and the redhaired boy jerked his hand away defensively. It took a moment before he was willing to risk the half a heart he had left.

I loved this short, like many, it made me cry. I have watched many of the reaction video's and loved most of them like this one. If viewers haven't already, watch In a Heartbeat a few times. You'll catch things you missed the first few times. The use of music is astounding and the subtle use of metaphors is phenomenal. If this were a short about a hetero couple, it just doesn't have the same impact. So if this is a 'Gay' story, and was published July 31st and as of Aug 27th it's at over 27 million views, what does that say? Thanks Aaron & Jonathan. Follow Your Heart.

True role models right there! Open and honest! I can't be that because it's so nerve racking thinking about how your life will change. You guys are awesome! This animation really relates to me because there is this straight boy in my 6th period who is really, well, cute and even though he seems like one of those stuck up popular people, he's pretty nice. His locker is on the first level and mine is on the second, so after that period, I slowly take the long way to my locker, just so I can pass him(I'm not a stalker, just crushin') Also, we were doing this thing that required 3 people up front and I volunteered. He did too and I was all awkward and totally ruined my chance at talking to him! After that, I was just mentally kicking myself.
