One strategic kick to his groin, will give you time to escape and call for help. Physical abusers are cowards who use force against those considered weak and helpless. Good tip, but today, men don't diss out the "Ike Turner " beatdown. You need a gun to protect yourself. These days, men are killing women, especially pregnant women. My mother used to fight back, and one of her boyfriends was ready to hit my mother with a baseball bat . As a child, I intervened, and I got hit in my mouth. My went to get her knife, and she meant business. Nobody should live in a hostel home.

Really great episode! Great acting. This stuff is real and just so devastating. Unfortunately, some women can’t get away and then either come up missing or found not alive. I was lucky to get away from my son’s biological father who hit and beat me. He moved to his hometown and I got a protection order for my son and me. My son is grown now and I have been with my husband for almost 22 years and married almost 15. He doesn’t abuse me. ❤

This is what goes on in the real world. I have been through a lot not only with my husband but also my mother. If you can not stand the violence which is telling you what happen in a relationship which is true please don't complain about it and don't watch the show. For someone who say it too much violence in the story just don't have compassion at all and will never understand what woman goes through and also some mens. My father was an alcoholic and when he get home my mother was abused every day and finally she had enough and threw him out which took years of abused
