The Beatitudes scene is one of my favorites. They are listed in Matthew 5, and there is a shorter version is in Luke 6:20-23. I think the chosen perfectly captures Luke 6:20 “Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciple, and said:”.

I absolutely love your reviews of The Chosen and look forward to them every Sunday. I know this is a TV show and not 100% accurate on the account of Jesus and his disciples, but with watch this show and I have watched all of the episodes thus far. Love your honesty in your reactions! I do hate that you have to cut off the audio at some points throughout the show and you don’t show the full video clips ( I guessing because of copyright, but other people do show the full clip). Keep up the good work, God Bless!

Yeah. It’s a bit unfortunate, and it feels random when KZbin does it - so it’s frustrating. A lot of times, they’ll cut audio after it’s already been uploaded and seen a bunch of times. So it doesn’t leave room for a re-edit. The mysteries of KZbin 😂. But we really appreciate you watching with us! Thank you!
