@@katybug6572 it's really tragic... Molly was my first girlfriend, we met in 2008 and we were together from 2009 to 2010. She reached out to me for help/support in August 2017. We got back together for a little while, and I befriended her husband (Tim) and tried to mediate their separation and divorce while trying to get Molly medical and legal help. Unfortunately after about a month she ghosted me and I didn't hear back from her. Tim, believing we were friends, kept me somewhat posted and then told me of her death about ten hours after it happened. I tried to convince him to tell her father but he refused. So, I took it upon myself, called her father and told him what Tim had told me. He called and had a wellness check performed and was then informed that her body was at the morgue, and then pursued to have an autopsy done. It took 9~10 months for the coroner to release their findings. During that time an investigator from the LAPD was assigned. I tried for eight months to contact them, they never answered. I left dozens of voicemails saying I had evidence and testimony to provide, as did her friends. They never returned my calls. They simply wrote her death off as an accidental overdose, which was exactly what Molly said would happen if Tim killed her. I miss her dearly, she was my first love. Ever since we met in 2008 there hasn't been a single day in which I haven't thought about her. I'm glad she isn't being forgotten and that her case is being looked into again, but, it is also frustrating that it took her husband committing another heinous crime, hurting and almost killing someone else for Molly's case to finally be looked into seriously.

yea; it's confusing how they formatted it. Basically, Molly and Tim were married, she died in December 2017 under suspect circumstances, but the LAPD just wrote it off as an accidental drug overdose. Last year, her husband and his new girlfriend kidnapped a girl from Texas and held her prisoner for six weeks. This past spring, he pled guilty, about a month or two ago he was sentenced to life in prison plus 90 years. because of this recent case, people are now looking back at Molly's death through a different lense. to be clear, I knew Molly personally, she's an ex girlfriend of mine, we were together years before she met Tim. Both of them ended up reaching out to me in 2017, first Tim contacted me trying to get help for Molly, and then eight months later Molly reached out to me after having run away from Tim, seeking support and help.. I befriended tim and tried to mediate their separation and divorce, while trying to get Molly legal and medical help. Things went off the rails after a month or two and I lost contact with Molly. Then one day I hear from Tim telling me she had died. I was the one who contacted her father to tell him as Tim refused to do so.

We need to stop trusting the ones who are overly dramatic in their expression of “love” are going to be our heros or have our best interest at heart. It’s the small things. Look for someone that thinks of the small things without expectations or praise, that is the characteristics of a genuine person.
