Make a thumbs up and hold it out in front of you, now close your left eye and focus on whats in front of you. Move your thumb slowly to the right without focusing on it and it will disappear from your view for a small window.

This also makes is more believable that you're a physician as it falls into our preconceptions of how someone with that job would speak. On top of that, you display a good amount of confidence and maintain eye contact with the camera/patient, which adds further to the credibility of this persona. Underpinning all that you also seem to have the basics of ASMR down pretty well.

out of ignorance, could you tell us (and other aspiring artists) what equipment/settings you used to record this? here's why; this should be the standard for someone starting out now, today. the audio has excellent volume capacity and clarity. we, the audience are now a bit spoiled. audio quality that's less than this does not stimulate as much as it did 4,5 years ago. great video!

+Epitaphforyesterday Hi! I don't mind sharing! I am very lucky that my boyfriend actually has a dslr camera so I get a pretty good picture, but it uses a standard wide angle lens and it seems it's more common for a lot of people to have dslr cameras now. I also use a rode mic, not the super expensive ones, just one of the cheaper camera mounted ones. I agree with you, a lot of big youtubers say that it shouldn't matter with the camera quality because they started with just a webcam and content quality is all that's important. But as you say, these days we are very spoiled with quality and when those people started 5 years ago webcam quality was fine. These days less so. Hope this helps!

+liam S As my nationality is defined as "British" I call it a British accent, and it seems to be a common use term which is also why I say British rather than English. But yes, Welsh and Scottish are very different though could still count as "British" as we are all in Great Britian. Then again a Scouse accent is vastly different to mine and is also "English" ^_^

Lol I've noticed there's so different British accents depending on the area of Britain you're from. I've been there a bunch of times and my favorite one I've heard is in Norwich they sound so cool
