What Is The BRUTAL Series?
The BRUTAL series is a series of videos I do inside of the game Transport Fever 2. It's designed to be an extremely hard version of the game, that has to stick to real life as much as physically possible. We do 1 year each episode, which may sound slow, but my much more fast paced editing compared to other transport fever youtubers means that only the bits YOU want to actually watch are included, any umming and arring is always cut out and it's just the content you came to watch. If we have actual freight shunting implemented into _a_ game it would make this balance make perfect sense, since instead of a consist being put together and the train picking it up, once the locomotive is there it would have to pull out of the station past the switch, then reverse back in and hook up with the next section and repeat for every station length worth of train.

Hey, nice coverage mate. I now understand what that alternate platform icon means! A few good changes here for sure, especially the WHISTLE button. As a Railway Empire player which had this from the start i always thought the lack of a whistle button was a very poor design decision in TF. Glad they fixed it. As for the platform length affecting loading/unloading times it just makes sense. In reality you need forklifts and trucks to unload a train into a warehouse and it makes their job easier having a cement platform to work on. The appearing and disappearing industries is a feature from the old Transport Tycoon game. TF is a spiritual successor of that old 90s game Transport Tycoon and i have to say, when i played TF the first time i was a bit upset that they didnt take all the good features from the old TT in this one. Glad to see they are putting some of them in. But lets be real, the WHISTLE is the MOST important feature in a train game :D!

Thank you , you are the first that I have found that explains & shows how the updates effect the game. I have had trouble with trains not moving over Half the map when I send it to the shed while another one is heading their, which locked up the whole tracks because of one train I went from 3 mil in the black to over 3 into the red, also I edited another train in the shed then highlighted & sent it on its way, and lost the whole train while the old train went out instead. Thank you for covering most of what is new.

Trains taking goods to "all the cities" as you said will never happen. :S it will always unload depending on demand. No splitting.

So uh If you're REALLY lazy (well in a certain kind of way because actually doing this is really painful) you can literally put a truck stop at every intersection between cities and create lines between every single station and indeed goods will find their way wherever they are needed and split as needed. However the reason it's potentially not going to ever really happen that way would more be due to the fact that a single cities demand can easily eat up an entire train's consist. As you increase supply the cities will grow and increase demand.

If only there was a feature to tell the game how much of percentage of cargo the vehicle can unload.. :)

@@dani5k571 There is such a feature, but before going all smarts you should check how the game works. ;) Hint: cargo has a destination the moment it spawns.

is this as buggy as TF (1)? I've played many train games....all railroad tycoon 1-3.....etc.. I tried following the west campaign videos ive seen and never could dig up the gold nugget.....ive seen many of the videos where trains and or trucks supposed to unload or load but dont....etc..etc..etc. Last update to TF (1) refers to this...TF 2....its lame.
