Husky 701SM Rottweiler Fuel Dongle Install and Test Ride

The bike was wild before but this just makes it better! The Rottweiler fuel dongle brings the 701 closer to the bikes full potential.

I had one of them and it did a decent job on my Svartpilen 701. Replaced it with Kev's Mod and noticed an even bigger improvement in low speed engine performance. Smooth no jerking or shuddering.

Add a KTM Evo airbox lid. £30. As long you keep the standard exhaust and paper air filter. It opens it right up and no ECU tuning needed.

no, it should automatically force the computer to run more rich. Mine is a 2022 and I have noticed a stronger fuel smell from the exhaust as well as less stalling.

Dont know if this is still relevant for you but if you got a Euro5 bike you need a different dongle. US huskys are all Euro4, there for its the same dongle for the lot of them. But EU bikes differ. I think 2021 and up is Euro5.

you do not need the power commander to go with the dongle! Dongle works perfectly alone. but both combined will work amazingly!

it’s the other way around: putting a powercommander with no dongle will only affect the high rev range. with the dongle the powercommander will override the ecu in all the range and all throttle openings because the bike won’t go in closed loop with the o2 sensor thus allowing the powercommander to work

he’s testing the fueling dongle which only affects the low rev or the low throttle opening states.
