It's cool to see clean sand and then only Sherpa's paw prints as he runs to the water. He is such a happy puppy when he gets in the sand and starts digging. It is unbelievable the places you find where you are the only person. Such solitude and peaceful. We so appreciate you taking us on your road trips. So glad I found your channel about six months ago and you are my favorite. The first thing I look for when I go on KZbin and hope there is a new posting. It's a lot of narrow track roads - it's 2 way but only wide enough for one vehicle. There are a lot of passing places. But a stunning fun drive to do 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I love when Sherpiieeee gets playful at the beach, drops his head and begins to dig, runs, digs again ... lovely doggie. Lots of wow's, but for those of us who do not know what the NC500 is I had to look it up, beautiful. It reminds me of Iceland and even parts of Canada. Going to wee in all that wind, it is a risky proposition ... in all likelihood he will wet his front legs while at it ... he he he ;-) Given your rathers, I would do exactly what you did ... camp in the van by the side of the road. What a glorious adventure!!!

we surveyed 100 huskies/malamutes about where they would like to live. 99 said a snow-covered mountain house, only 1 (Sherpa) said a soft sandy beach....... he seems so energetic running on the beach and doing a quick dig.

Reason for the house spacing is historical. Back in the day each crofter was allocated a "run rig" to grow food. Houses were spaced accordingly.

We are retired and live in Washington State and planned to see the USA with our sweet Golden Retriever Hunny..my husbands retirement began March 2020 😂 😂 so much for the best laid plans. You managed to work out all the kinks the “issues/troubles” brought on with pandemic… and, have an amazing time together! Our wish list does include Scotland..my husbands ancestors are from Glasgow.. i wish we could bring our girl with us..she would love the beaches.. I’m astonished you had such wonderful weather so early in the year. We haven’t’ had 2 days in a row with 🌞 yet. God Bless you both for all the joy you bring to so many!

Last went to Scotland in 1972 ! Got as far as Mallaig. Overnight, it only got as dark as dusk ! Climbed the "mountain " nearby, amazing view from the top : all hills, lakes, mountains, couldn't see any buildings from way up there ! From Mallaig area you can see Skye(?), Rhum, and Eigg (?) . Wonder if Mrs McGillivray is still there?!😊 Alongside some roads around there, on the way, we saw boulders and rocks : white ( quartz?), with sparkly bits that caught the sun and looked like running water. Think the sparkly bits might be mica ? Must google it... Many thanks for this video. So realistic, as if we're there with you and dear Sherpa on the trip. And it didn't cost us a penny! 😊 One of the many benefits of the modern technology. Hope you can do more videos of road trips , I really like to see them. So interesting . 🇬🇧😊🐕💕🐕😊

Watching your video today on Tuesday April 5, 2022 at 10:16 AM while we are under a “severe thunderstorm warning with the potential of tornadoes” throughout today and tomorrow. My first tornado experience was during the 1974 Super Outbreak when I was in the fourth grade and we, my parents and six siblings lived directly across the expressway from Hartsville International Airport when a tornado went over our house and threw a tree through the top of our house. At that time, we lived in Mountain View, Georgia in Clayton County, and three blocks behind our house are the railroad tracks that would have freight trains stopping at the FORD MOTOR PLANT in Hapeville, Georgia. Tornadoes do not sound just like freight trains. With the airplanes flying out of and coming into Hartsville International Airport going over our house 24/7/365, tornadoes sound as if thousands and thousands airplanes coming at once, and throw into that noise, a sound of a wailing woman. This was not my only tornado experience, in fact my husband and kids tease me about tornadoes finding me. I have always called tornadoes “wind dancing”. One tornado was coming down I-85 southbound while my husband and 4 boys were on their way back home after spending an hour at his mother’s house.
