But, that was just part of the relationship you shared. You're so blessed to have been able to spend quality time in such absolutely beautiful and stunning surroundings. Jamie I don't just want to offer my condolences on your loss I also want to say thankyou for allowing so many people to come along for the journey over the years you and Sherpa have had. The countless years of KZbin videos have made countless people including myself smile and laugh throughout, the dedication you showed for Sherpa can never be doubted and I know until his last breath that Sherpa knew how much you loved and cared for him. I know I can't find the words to say that will help you feel better but just know yourself and Sherpa have touched so many lives and that will never be forgotten. You're a clear example of what a dog owner should be and even though I know your heartbroken just know how proud of yourself you should be for giving Sherpa the best life ever. But as much as we loved Sherpa's journey we also enjoyed yours as well, we care as much for Sherpa as we do for you, so please never forget that. And as Sherpa crosses the rainbow bridge I know this amazing dog as well as yourself have touched so many hearts and it's safe to say right about now he is causing mayhem with Phil until you're both reunited one day. There are many cute dogs on KZbin- they do tricks, they count, they talk, they dance. We are told what they’re thinking in captions. But what makes Sherpa and Jamie so unique and so loved is that Jamie never asked Sherpa to be anything other than who he was- and Sherpa loved everything that Jamie did for him. Watching Sherpie comforts me today. Had to let my 12 yo Wilma go yesterday. Same horrible diagnosis as Sherpa. It's been a 7 1/2 week battle. She was doing so good til suddenly Tuesday afternoon. Drastic change and she was ready yesterday to go. I had such peace in that. Thank you Sherpie for all these videos. Find Wilma up there. She loves other dogs to play with. Bless you.

When i get home from work each day, i shower, get some food and then i look for Sherpa and Jamies's video. That's has been my routine now for i don't know how many years, its just that reassuring voice and woof in the background that each day became the norm for me. Once Jaime came to Southampton about a mile from where I live and got an ice cream off a ice cream van who my friend owns and that was my little bit of Jamie and Sherpa that came into my own life. I remember how jealous i felt that my friend had met Mr fitness and Jamie. I see so many comments here and on the first video after Sherpa died and it shows you what Jamie brought to us all. Why on earth do we watch a guy living in Cornwall going for a walk with his beloved boy each day? I guess that most who watch his video's over the years have been or are dog owners currently, but it feels more than that with Jamie and Sherpa. The two of them even going for a pasty seemed like the best bit of news we had all day. Like most of us here we know what it is like to lose, to have endless times just wishing that it was 'this 'time last week or month' or what could we have done differently but sadly life is not so forgiving. What I do know is that Sherpa seems to have won the biggest rollover lottery in history when he picked Jamie to be his Dad. So many adventures, so much visual and sensory wonderment for him. He will never know just how many people tuned in just to see what both he and his Dad got up to each day. So sadly we do not have Sherpa now , but what we do have is thousands of hours or You tube video's of him and Jamie having different adventures. From what i can see Jamie maxed out in giving Sherpa the most incredible life and a legacy to all of us at home watching their adventures each day. There will be a time when Jamie can watch endless hours of video's of Sherpa here on You tube, it will bring him joy and not the pain that it must bring him at this very moment. He brought me and so many thousands , endless days of utter joy and i hope he will continue to do so in whatever path he decides to take. He made Sherpa's life utterly wonderful and made hundreds of thousands of people all over the world very happy with his content that he gave us each day. Jamie will smile again even if it is not right now. Thank you for making my days happier with your daily adventures. I hope so much you continue to do so, you have a huge following here of people routing for you, we all wish we could reach through the screen and help you through this horrid time for you. You will get there even if it does not feel like it right now.

I'm not sure if you have time to read all your comments, but I wanted to express my deepest condolences and gratitude that you have shared this part of your life too. I have a dog I will soon have say goodbye to as well, and knowing that the experience is shared, and how you have been processing it has been very helpful. Jamie, you are a thoughtful, loving and articulate person - I've definitely lived the emotional rollercoaster, the shrinking circle of our lives, and the sleepless nights. I know you might consider Sherpa the star of your youtube channel, but I, and I assume others, are here for you too.

I haven’t commented before now because I just wasn’t sure what to say. My heart was shattered when I saw the video when he was put to sleep. I’m still crying watching these videos. I have a husky that I hug everyday knowing how lucky I am to have her. I have to say, what an amazing legacy to have these videos of all the adventures you two went on. Thank you for sharing your precious memories. My dog has been gone for two years now, and I still dearly miss him. He gave me a special dream visit the other night to let me know that he's no longer in pain and enjoying his life across the Rainbow Bridge. Due to my health condition it is no longer responsible for me to have another dog. I pray that one day Sherpa will let you know it's ok for you to enjoy your life with another companion. Dogs are the best!
