Just adopted a husky from a kill shelter. My baby who is a dachshund is 17 years old I've had him since he was 3 weeks. All his brothers died 5 years ago and he is alone so I wanted him to have a friend. Dash, short for dachshund is the perfect companion he takes care of Joe no matter what he needs when he comes at us talking with his row row we get up knowing it's Jo Jo either needing to go outside or just wanting a snack. The oldest living dachshund was 25 and my baby is 17 so we'll see how it goes at least Jo Jo won't be alone in these final days. Much love to everybody who has a fur baby and also thank you Sherpa for bringing attention to the breed and how loving they are 🥰
