Another thing that helps is some gas stations premium gas doesn't have ethanol in it. If you can get fuel without ethanol in it the gas won't go bad near as quick. Thought that might help.
@SeattleRingHunter3 жыл бұрын
Call your local marine shop or search online there typically is a station someplace if your looming for ethanol free gas or just add some sea-bil in your filler can not that hard to do.

Great little blower for homeowner use. Ive used their backpack blowers for many things, the strangest of course was to put out grass fires, believe it or not. (Im a volunteer fireman.) Sounds like this unit follows the Husqvarna tradition of great tools at great prices. (It takes a lot of wind speed to put out a grass fire with one, this one would not do it. pointed at the base of the fire, at least 205mph is needed to snuff the fire out. You will get a flare up if you raise the nozzle, though)

Part of the reason for "bad gas" is the ethanol added into the gas. It eats a lot fo rubber lines in small engines. Run "Non Ethanol" Non Oxygenated" fuel when possible on small engines and motorcycles. Good video, thanks!

This machine of mine is still going strong after 10 years. Faded & worn, but even with the original fuel lines if you believe that...
@SeattleRingHunter3 жыл бұрын
As one would expect this machine doesn't perform well at all with wet leaves and clogs but that is not to say its a bad machine. No different than cutting wet grass but I think it will be much better on the vacuum when I attache the WORX trash can adapter out the machine on a mount so the nozzle is just a few inches from he ground and hand rake the leaves to the inlet!

i have NO clue why they deleted the blower tube finger toggle on the tightening nut. now you HAVE to use the provided screwdriver/wrench instead of just turning it by hand. changeovers now take 3 times as long to do. idiotic.

Looks like a great blower. Coming from Husqvarna you know it's going to be great. It has a 16:1 ratio. Lol. It's okay dan. We knew what you meant. Lol. Personally I like the backpack blower. But those done have the vacuum option.

Great review guys! I am a huge fan of Husqvarna equipment. For work we have a string trimmer, handheld blower and the 450 rancher and they run great!! They give stihl a run for the money sometimes. I am not usually a fan of the vacs.. Keep up the great work guys! Im glad to be back here, finally getting caught up!

I got the 125B for fathers day yesterday. you mention issues back from 2013, how about today? 2018??
@sawyerbeals51054 жыл бұрын
If you can find it you need to run high octane no ethanol gasoline in these small 2 stroke engines. Even if you can find high octane even 87 no ethanol will work the no ethanol gas will not go bad nearly as fast as ethanol gas will and the ethanol gums stuff up in these small engines.

Thanks for the helpful review. I was wondering how well this would work for vacuuming maple seeds (whirly birds)? The electric one I'm currently using does a fairly good job but I like the freedom of going cordless and I'm not interested in battery power. One of the issues I have is the impeller gets gunked up after awhile and I need to remove it for cleaning. Is that relatively easy to do with this blower? Thanks for any help.

I had a husqvarna string trimmer and it was a piece,of,junk. It started acting up 1 month in. I bought an echo leaf blower and have had no problems with it. Then bought a pas-230 and rums just as good. Never buy a husqvarna

How did they actually correct the fuel lines from rotting out on the bvx versus the 125B?
@johnk63136 жыл бұрын
Don't think they did? Mine was not working so I got a carb kit. When I went to remove the Carb the fuel lines were shrunk and brittle and just broke away. To me it appears too much heat from the carb is shrinking and making the rubber hoses brittle. Hoping the replacement hoses last longer. I tried to run the new hoses so they don't touch the carb.

Actually quite lack luster as a review, didn't show how user friendly or how the attachments are converting from blow to suck and spent very little time show the vacuum operation and how dirty and filthy it can be unzipping and dumping shredded leaves can be. That leave bag is super small maybe a bushel and a half at best. I just got this unit and have ordered the WORX Leaf Pro adapter to attache it to a big rolling trash can. Well see how that performs...

@SeattleRingHunter3 жыл бұрын
@@Ben-fk9ey Yes it all worked out very well. I got the chance to unbox and install the WORX LeafPro attachment. Its mesh net synched up with a draw string very easy to a full size square plastic bin with wheels. The other end with a ratchet compression system connected quickly and securely to the Husqvarna output. There is plenty of hose to move around the large garbage bin and no house kinks. In this configuration its more of a set the can and suck a pile of leaves up. So blow they'd to piles then less moving of the bin. I was hit by yet another rain storm so my leaves quickly closed the intake tube of this machine to bad I had to take twist off the tube and clear the leave first trying to push them out with a long piece of PVC pipe that failed. Had to hand pull the wet leaves out packed in tight like a gun wadding, to be expected none of the machine will do well. I think with dry leaves it will work absolutely great! Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter

Typical newb mistake to start replacing anything they can before diagnosing the actual problem. If you have spark and compression it's always a fuel problem.

Don't buy this. Wish I would've check Consumer Reports first. I think it's rated in the 60s. Starter broke on second use and Husqvarna gave me the run around and wanted me to take it to a dealer. Replaced the starter on my own dime. Just avoid the frustration and buy a CT-recommended tool

Also, vacuum bag hangs in a way that inhibits flow. Pretty poor design on that.
