Great to watch Chris. A the winner is the big saw and a photo finish with the Dremmel! Right from the start I was thinking "I'd hate sharpening that huge chain!" But six minutes, piece of cake. I doquite a lot of wood that size, but ring it then stand it up and rip the rings. I only have a thirty inch bar and if I've got atree bigger than that I "castle" it ie take it down in steps. Greay video. Cheers from HB NZ

That bar and saw is awesome. You have to be a man to handle that. Evan is a great guy. That saw sure made some big nasties a whole lot easier to handle and work up. That sharpening really made a big difference. I am glad you did the video on that, my saws cut so much better now that I sharpen with the dremel. That big bar sure came in handy with that really big stuff and I think a lot of people had fun running it.

Boyz and toyz👍 the 60" maybe a novelty niche, pretty certain your already aware the 42" will prove more practical for actual use sans the cool factor. End of the day if the work is done and everyone's face hurts from laughing and having a good day.👍👍👍

How long was the line for people wanting to sharpen it ? Does the saw know how much oil it takes to lube a chain that is four times the normal length ? And do you run out of bar oil in half the time ?

What a beast of a saw. Curiosity question: Why was some of the saw debris coming out almost like powder and other came out like ribbons? I'm taking a guess and saying it's because one was with the grain and the other against the grain? Great vid.
@InTheWoodyard8 ай бұрын
Yup, she is big. The dusty stuff was because the saw was dull and the "ribbons" (noodles) are from ripping...cutting with the grain.

Todays pointless info. There are bars that you can strap a large mount power head on to each end. Do what you will with that info. Ha ha.. . Other then that, it was a real. i ant in Kansas no more experience, in having all those 70cc plus saws with out full rap handle. I mean i had a 60cc there with a original rap handle. Granted i smashed it once and replaced it and a few other parts but it runs. On the flip side, id have to order in a heated carb/handle. . A letter W designates a sold on the shelf with full rap.
@InTheWoodyard8 ай бұрын
Yup, there is a place on the end of that bar for a handle.
