Good n strong! Almost sounded like it’s got the slightest air leak when you were checking to see if it was oiling. What are your thoughts? I’ve heard when The revs pop up a few seconds after full throttle, it could be because of an air leak? Haha ya. Half a tank will do a ton of cutting with them 55’s. My 55 is the only one that will out work me on only one tank!

Think it could need a bigger carb

Yeah that could be it too!! Mine does about the same thing. I’m just running the stock carb. Gasket delete. Raised and widened the exhaust roof a tad. Fabbed a custom pipe. What would you suggest for a bigger carb? Eventually I’ll do the 028 piston and intake work but it’s running so good now I’m just gonna enjoy it for awhile first😁
