I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle kzbin.infoUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

I gutted the muffler on mine with a die grinder and added a second outlet port, installed a Cannon 28" Supermini bar, and Stihl 33RSF chain and I've been very pleased with it since. Since the mods, I have ripped some walnut with it and cut up various softwood firewood and it cut through the softwood in no time at all.

Just decided to go with 562XP 24", and had my dealer order me one last week, then I found your vid. In addition to the qualities you mention here, being left-handed, I noticed the Husq saws have less right-hand bias, than do Stihl or Echo. Having been on the fence about a 60cc pro-saw for a while, your agreement assures me more that I'm making a better choice than going with the MS-362.

You should find a 620P to borrow and run it against the 362 and the 562 to see if it can hang with them. I bought one and put it in wood for the first time today and I'm thrilled with it but without a direct comparison it's hard to tell.

Back when I used to fix saws commercially there were more Husqvarna saws come in than Stihl. I like both saws, currently running a Stihl 064 for firewood. I am with you in that I maintain all my own equipment, having things like heated carbs etc just add to the complications when things go wrong.

A 562xp ported "correctly" by one of the guys that's done many is an awesome machine! Nimble in the hands. Ported, it'll pull a 28" full house like a freekin boss!!! Best "one saw plan" saw I've ever owned. I run Shaffer's 9000 full syn mix @ 40:1 pulling a 28" FH..... no issues.

I bought a 562 XP today based off of this review LOL and that ain't no lie. Recently my former arm wrestling career has caught up with me and I've got some destroyed tendons in my right arm so I needed something with a little bit less pop than my 372's and my 288 would be a little easier to start and the 362 XP has not disappointed me today. The recoil system on it is far smoother the size much easier to fire off

try dolmar makita 6100 -has a bulkier, higher body. -front handle is slightly higher -the easy start mechanism makes it a bit wider, it has spring assist and stronger spark on startup -starts much easier than husky 560. - does not suffer from vapour locking, runs so much cooler that the husky in general. -Larger tank volume, for longer runtime -Proved to have better fuel economy than 560 -Air filtration is superior to husky -Anti vibration is not as good as husky, but has one extra spring, that makes it feel very sturdy and solid. -Dolmars are very well engineered and constructed, simple and reliable. -Has inboard clutch. It is more robust it can take more abuse.

I have a Makita dcs6421 which is essentially the same saw, and can attest to it being easier to start, always coughs on the first pull, turn the choke off then runs after pulling it twice more, sometimes i can even push the choke in before it dies after the first pull. and you don't need to fuel as often, the tank goes a LONG way. My only minor complaints other than no dealer support in my area (Delaware and Maryland) is the caps tend to get tighter when running so i need to carry a saw wrench with me to get the caps off for fueling, and if it sits for a long time, you need to put fuel directly into the carb, or pull it a hundred times. if you use it every couple weeks, no issues, one of the easiest saws to start. and it comes with better spikes than husky, maybe not quite as good as stihls, and it has 2, not just the one on the inside like the husky, and i think the stihl only has one. i did have to replace the brake band on it once. not sure if this is a common issue or not. power and weight is close enough to the 562 it doesn't matter, and it sounds nicer, a little throatier. as you can tell by my comment about sitting a while i often don't use it regularly, it is my personal saw, which i have brought to work here and there to play with, and it is equal to my bosses 362. because of the spikes i prefer working with my saw, but not enough to make it a permanent addition on the trucks and put regular use on it.

Nice run down. Not sure why you like the chain adjuster on the casing. If you need to adjust it for a new chain then regardless of it being on the main body or case, you need to adjust it. When it's on the main body you can easily see the spigot thingy lining up with the hole on the bar without squinting through the gap with your head upside down.

Yeah carb heatter comes on and off with handle heatter. Saw comes with rubber plug for coldweathre hole. Newer poked mine out. Older 560/562 and 550 had many problems with heat and startting warm after 2016 they have fixed (ie cooling port on topcover and new model carb) most of it or so they claim. They also had problem with startter broking if decomp was not used, should be fixed too for newer models. Havent have any issue with my 2016 560. Run mine with 15" or 18" bar and I think 18" starts to be on the limit with power. To be honest I am just huge husqvarna fanboy. I have t540 560 572xp and like all of them, even t540.

Saves more money in long run (premixed is expensive) tho better fuel efficiency with a solenoid operated carb, it can adjust more accurately an on demand. More time running an less time "screwing" around with screws (that an they keep updating them to get the bugs out)

I bot 2 jonsered cs2260s same saw as 560xp meaning same eng small bar mount. My powerhead is 12.8lbs and a mean saw too. As for outboard clutches. I dont even take the top off the saws anymore. Just use flattip screwdriver and small deadblow. But first pull rope out about 15 inches or so and loop around handle. Hit the clutch at the arrow marks with a quick hit. Usually 2-3 at most clutch spins off. Good time to swap rim 325 to 3/8 or just a new one. After putting clutch back on reverse process. Then cut a piece of wood. This will tighten clutch more!!! Its just that easy.

I Agree!! Stihll and Husqvarna both must offer an interface for consumers so we can diagnose, or at least update the firmware on our equipment. Not being able to do this is simply unexceptionable!! and is a good way to loose customers IMHO. The saw should have come with a reusable rubber plug that fits into the winter shutter hole in the divider. A cheap bad design, the older saws all had built in flaps. I like the reduced weight bars on most of my saws the Oregon Versacut bars are sweet on the 562. Revboost allows the engine to over rev for shorts bursts for limb work. If you would let us know how the saw preforms and restarts when the temps are in the upper 80's and 90's The I have seen 562's and 550's turn the fuel in the carb to vapor if you let them sit after running a few minutes. The saws will not restart, even the primer stops functioning. I've alleviated the issue buy opening up the muffler, plugging the decomp and adding some heat shielding on the decider. Other than the heat issue these saws run extremely well.

I liked the alternation with the ms362 in the cookie cutting at the end. I've used both and prefer the husky but IMHO there's not much in it.

I bought a husq several years ago cause my parents had great success with them. Boy was I wrong in buying one. The first day trying to use it, had great difficulty getting it started. Had the right fuel mixture and everything. Chainsaw kept dying. So I took it back to lowes ( and yes I know buying power equipment like that from a box store is a mistake. Didn't know that at the time). They fixed it and blamed me for the chainsaw going bad. So I took the chainsaw back home and had the same problem again. So I took it back to lowes 2 more times after that. which they blamed me for it every time. The last time I took back they said they will not honor the contract. So I said f*** it and went to a stihl dealer and got a professional chainsaw which I know was over kill. But hey I have not had any trouble from stihl. Moral of the story do not buy power equipment from a box store.

My family used husky saws a long time always changed bar and chain to stihl. Stihl chains are the best at holding an edge and the bars seemed not as flimsy as stock husky bar

Meh, 462 is pretty much the same weight
@BenKickert
@BenKickert 5 жыл бұрын
@@Human1337 Exactly. The 562XP is 13.4lbs for a 60cc saw with 4.7hp. If money isn't an issue then certainly get the 462 at only 13lbs with 72cc and 6hp. If you are committing to a cheaper pro saw, then the 362 CM comes in the same price with the same horsepower and only weighs 12.35lbs -- why carry around that extra weight all day. I don't understand why you would ever choose the 562 over one of the Stihl saws.

Hey is TrueStuff.com your website I'm trying to figure out why I can't find Elvex chainsaw trousers in my size anywhere 33/30 ? Any review on them are they any good ? Picking up the 562XP this week prefered the MS 362 R C-M tbh but can't trust that M Tronic, the wrap handle on the 362 is just beautifully balance with a 25" kinda disappointed but warming up to the 562 and going add a wrap. Thanks any help on them damn pants lol...

MrSisterfister100 looks to be about a 20inch bar. I'd expect it for larger bars. This smaller one should just be addressed though. Still there is no excuse when noticed.
