"I'm not a monster 6' 3" hahahaha The whole time I was thinking dang, I am such a short guys. I have the same chaps and they practically wrap double around my legs! I have run a 32 but honestly it is past the point of being able to stand up and buck. I could drill for oil with a 32 so a 28" is just about right for me to stand up and run a saw. Nice saw man!

I love my Husqvarna’s over my coworkers Stihl saws. I feel they are smoother though heavier. I have the following Husqvarna saws 550XP Mark II, 562XP updated 2020 version, 572XP, 395XP and my newest saw is a 592XP. The 572XP is my favorite all around saw but when you first break it in it feels weak. A 28” bar might be a bit much for it in hard wood though.

Glad to hear it! Ive heard that it gets stronger after a couple tanks. Mostly softwood here.

what a deal on the box of 2 Stroke oil! That is an excellent thing to get consumables like that. Also, I have never run it but it is supposedly good stuff. New sub. Found you on Living the Dream comment section. Look forward to seeing what you have going on! Have a good one and stay safe!

I honestly clicked the name cause of the "Pines" in your logo. We live amongst the pines here in Oklahoma as well and fell in the love with the property when we saw it due to their presence.

Just got a new 572 from my dealer.. $1300 canuck bucks with a 28" bar. I run a 32" bar as well depending on what I'm up to. Used the same combo on my old 365 for 12 years and it was a good combination. Husky or Stihl ya cant go wrong with either.

Agreed! I'm still hunting for a 28" light bar though...

My 562 uses fuel at a much quicker rate than my Echo CS620 seemingly as well.

Last year I paid a little over $800 for my CS 7310 p with a 28 inch bar. They've gone up like $500 bucks. Then I had to wait 3 months for a 24-in bar.

@@brokenpinesfarm I've also picked up two neotec 872s. They're Stihl chainsaw Chinese clones. Really handy in the woodyard. 315 bucks for 72 CC chainsaw. I let my sons run them. Surprisingly after 4 months in the woodyard I don't have any problems with them.

Dumb question bcuz I don’t know much about chainsaws. Did u lubricate the piston before starting. Or did u just add gas and bar oil and let her rip ??
@brokenpinesfarm
@brokenpinesfarm 2 жыл бұрын
Let her rip. Fairly sure every engine is started in the factory before leaving it. If not, they use oil during assembly so it's not just naked metal in there.

I run the oiler wide open the saw will run out of gas before bar oil.

@Dragonfly Projects & Homestead running a 20inch husky bar. I'm gonna put a 24 inch on it. Saws are restricted now days on oiling many people use an aftermarket oiler on long bars Because the stock ones won't keep up
@brokenpinesfarm
@brokenpinesfarm Жыл бұрын
I have a CS590 for my 20inch needs, but I wouldn't say no to a 24 on the Husky, would make it lighter and I don't need the 28 all the time!
