It is a great saw!!! these are the issues i have had, primer bowl was unplugged after a few hours of running the kill switch would not stop saw and i would have to choke it off, switch was recalled and the dogs that engage to start the saw are made of plastic so the dealer recommends always using the decompressor as well as pulling the cord a few inches before shutting off so the cord does not pull against the case when the saw shuts down. Otherwise its been without issue

It may even need the high fattened up a bit but im guessing just the low screw if you do the high just a smidge. Nice video, interesting on thw comments aboit weight vs 395. Ive just picked up a 394 for my channel and it doesnt seem heavy for what it is. You have a good mix of content, i always like falling tips, and im always interested in chain sharpening too. My current favourite topic of conversation is why dont husky make an 80cc saw.. would you be interested if they made a kind of big bore 572 with power in between the 592 and 572? So yeah, a 500i rival.. Living the channel dude, and how fast your growing shows others do too! 👍
@Good.Fellers Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the kind words. I’m glad your enjoying the channel. 394 is awesome saw I’ve owned several over the years. I would be interested in a rival to the 500i based solely off of weight. I wouldn’t trade the power of 592/395 for a lighter less powerful saw. I’ve been around the 500i but never owned one. It seams to me to be closer to a 572 then a 592. So honestly unless some awesome saw builder soups up a 80cc to run like a 90cc it’s basically not something I’m interested in.
@walkerscountrylife Жыл бұрын
@@Good.Fellers yeah it seems the 500i needs a pipe to wake it up.. what's your views on the 572? Light but not enough power? Did you ever run 288xp's or 390's?
@Good.Fellers Жыл бұрын
@walkerscountrylife No opinion on 572 I own one it mostly sits. Guy I cut with many years ago had a 390 said it wasn’t as good as 395 and I trusted his opinion. I’ve never run anything smaller. I own a 3120 but it’s two heavy to use. When your cutting veneer you need to be able to chase a tree down so having a small saw is asking for busted logs.
@walkerscountrylife Жыл бұрын
@@Good.Fellers thanks for the replies. Really value your opinion. Sorry, i've not done a whole lot of falling.. what do you mean by chase it? Is it to do with how you back cut into the hinge to steer the tree as it's starting to go?

592 runs awesome, first ones to come out had a issue with a fuel line. That was the problem, as far as ripsaw I have nothing against them but a ported 592 is a waste of money if your cutting hardwood. It’s already bouncing off the limiter with a seven pin sprocket.
@thermaltoyzngear3310Ай бұрын
@Good.Fellers I agree with you there. I don't see the point of porting the 592 as your gains in cutting speed won't be much. It makes me since to port a smaller saw like the 550 XP MK II to really see a gain in performance.

@@Good.Fellers So 33 hours of work time, plus idling and whatever so it might be 50+. A plug-in test will tell it more precisely. Anyway, this is just breaking in for these saws. When I saw (hehe) those numbers and board feet, my mind went to chainsaw milling. My 881 is closing in to 1000 work hours and there's no wear on the piston skirts yet, and the cylinder looks as new with no scoring. Running 25:1 motul 800 offroad for milling and 33:1 for the rest of my saws, thats my secret after some costly issues at 50/40:1 with all kinds of oils.

*****Important to understand *****- That Primer Bulb Has 2 Gas Lines Running to It. One from the Gas tank and another one going from the Primer Bulb to the Carburetor. It's the line from the Primer Bulb to the Carburetor, which is a hair over 2 inches - the replacement Husky gas line. BECAREFUL when you install that gas line I don't recommend a needle nose plyers that have aggressive teeth because they could puncture the gas hose and it then could suck air. I hope this helps..
