Agreed, and decent trails to test off/on road. This really helped me. I was debating getting the Tenere700 coming from a DR650 but this is making reconsider what my heart wants. The 701. I'll definitely check out your gear. :)

Late to the party on this video but you’ve given me comfort that a 690 I’ll ride on the TAT next year is the right tool. My 890 Adventure was going to be shipped over but the cost and ball ache make buying and selling a 690 the better option and probably the more suitable bike. Must get to the Lake District one day too. Cheers, Ian

The 501 is amazing and definitely more capable than the 701 off road and quite a lot lighter. Only problem is the competition machine servicing etc. Thanks, Aaron KNOX

i would like to know what have you done about the clutch slave cylinder issue and if it's something you would advise to do on mine as soon as i get it instead of waiting until it becomes a problem because many videos i've seen have mentioned they had that issue
@KnoxArmour3 жыл бұрын
We got it fixed under warranty. It doesn't effect every bike but it is a known issue to Husqvarna/KTM. When it happened basically the clutch stopped working and couldn't start or stop without stalling it. Not the biggest issue in the world, but just keep an eye on it,just feels like a spongy clutch. Hi, Just watched your review and found it very good. I have a 2016 701 and have a problem with a rear wheel wobble when I reach around 68 to 70mph on road of course. Have made adjustments to the pre load etc and sought professional help but still cannot get rid of the weave. Its really scary!! I have of road tyres fitted from Adventure Spec who have also been involved and sent me a replacement tyre. No improvement. Have also fitted wheel weights and still there. Have been to local Husqvarna dealer and will say no more!! Anyone had this issue and can give any advice please. Thanks Steve
@KnoxArmour3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. What tyres do you have? We installed Dunlop Rall Raid and now get that speed wobble you are talking about, but they are an enduro type tyre and therefore its kind of expected. We didn't get much speed wobble with the TKC80''s though. We're happy with the rally raid as they have made it much better off road but of course make a compromise on road. Hope that helps? Thanks, Aaron Knox

No its awesome at off-road. If you are going to do road and off road it's the right bike, much better on road than an enduro bike, but not as light and capable off road as pure enduro. Hope that helps. Aaron Knox
