Is it really a 120 mm diameter drill tool after using the 8mm one in the beginning?? I don't think so..... And you gave between 30 and 35 mm for the hole position, OK for the depth but relative to the carbon end cap width ? What's the value? It's in the middle of the flat portion?

wtf warum hast du nicht die Nieten aufgebohrt, dann kannst die Carbonkappe doch abziehen 😃 hinterher carbonkappe wieder drauf und Nieten. Zum Bohren in das Carbon könnte man auch nen Fliesenbohrer nehmen denn franst das nicht so stark aus denke ich

I disassembled mine to dothat... then removed the nut, unscrewed the bolt that was there, and just inserted new bolt.

Noooo!! Drill out rivets and remove cover and then you can pull out db killer, cover can then be revitted back on

Are i serious? Drilling a hole in that nice carbon fiber? You could just opem it by breaking up this kind of screws..

Without the hole you can't refit a db-killer.. I did the same, but i drilled out the rivets and removed the whole endcap.

Könnte man theoretisch nicht auch die Nieten von der Carbon Kappe vorsichtig aufbohren und am ende nach dem man den db gekürzt hat wieder vernieten?

ja hab ich auch schon überlegt und viel gehört. Ich möchte ihn aber rein und raus nehmen können und da kommt man nicht drum rum ein loch in das Carbon zu machen.

Completely wrong. Drill the pop rivets, take the carbon cap of, take the db killer of. Pop some new Aluminum rivets. Done!

Anyone have a problem with leaking from the mid to head pipe? Mine leaked without any sealant. I have some permatex copper gasket maker on there now curing over night. Hope that does the trick

Hast du Veränderungen gemerkt nachdem du den dB Killer gekürzt hast ? Lauter ? Leiser? Anderes ansprechverhalten ?

kloppi 123 Ich finde da hat sich nix geändert was man merken kann. Vielleicht würde man das auf dem Prüfstand etwas sehen. Aber einen deutlichen Unterschied merkt man, wenn der DB Killer draußen ist, das sie ein besseres ansprechverhalten hat 😊
