Thank you for this video I have everything mentioned here on my 4/6 dragonborn. Only difference is weapon soul (mine is increase dmg, and your is arena soul) but he is still making small damage from 1.5 to 2.5 mil on average, just like Cristalite, with rare exceptions when sometimes he makes 3.5 to 5mil. when game is played for a longer time. I don't understand what i did wrong, taught he should be even stronger with 4/6 set

Thanks again Foon! The elixirs part was very informative for me especially. Good stuff, might be nice do breakdown another must ancient set. Working on building a good Cultist, so knowing what equipment goes better with the set abilities would be great.

Its a little harder since there is a lot of good mage gear and then it's a matter of preference which mage gets what. But I think you're right this would be a great video.. just have to find time to research it :)

all archers should be brought up to the level of the dragonborn but i feel if any thing the 4 pice set should be tuned down but the full 6 pice set should be kept the same.

HI, Foon! Great video, thank you very much! Quick question, what would you consider a strong alternative artifact to the Ghostly Aides? I have the GA on my blade king and he's a monster with it....usually my last fighter standing and has won fights solo so not anxious to pull it for my DB...so curious what would be a good alternative. Also, do you consider the Holiday Totem (with a shield) a worthwhile totem? Thanks for your feedback!

Yes I do like the holiday totem. Umm next best artie for DB.... Force Field maybe? But I would at least *try* GA on DB. There's not much to be gained in keeping BK standing if he can't take down the whole opponent's team, which IMO is something really only a DB can pull off alone (assuming a close to even match)

Piece of Ice is also a very good artie. Some like it on a 2nd archer, there's a theory that it activates faster on a fighter in that position (not having to run so far at the start of battle). I would keep this in your team. But go with something that gives survivability on your DB

@@foonhc Ok, thanks again for the feedback. My BK is really strong....he's taken down 20M squads by himself multiple times...so it will be interesting to see how the fights go when I can get the DB squared away. I have a lot of work to do to get the DB up to speed after watching your video, but, after I get her there, I may toy with the artifacts more to see which ones work best with the two. For the 2/6 Tank set there actually is "the best set" and it is Bastion. The reason being that Eclipse and Paladin have "active effects", which can postpone your shots by a bit, while Bastion has a "passive effect". But the real point there is to have highest stats possible, so many run 2x 1/6 set items if they have a very high roll on Paladin. ID 62303960

hello@foonHC , I had a question and dont really know how to find out the answer for it , Does Ghostly aides work with the ring of Sakura , is there any method a normal user can try these experiments on ? Could you possibly try out this combination and see if this effect works with ghostly aides as its next to impossible to see it in arena matches even at 0.5 speed with the various effects going on in the background

Hi I'm sorry I don't know. But in general, the "ghosts" don't have any of the original's abilities. Some abilities works well with the Ghosts because the cooldown runs out when the ghosts are active, then the original comes back, activates it, then disappears again. I just looked it up and read the description. This is an "on attack" ability, so I would guess it doesn't work well with Ghostly Aids artifact. Also, I don't think that's a good ring for DB because a crossbow has a slow attack speed (see Damage explainer video kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIPYea1tfs6LmNU). If you want something more definitive, you can try asking on Hustle Prime, too. GL :)

@@foonhc thank you so much for the answer ,I'll try to find this forum hustle prime , the reason i wanted to know was i wanted to try it with the super fast crossbow (very fast attack speed ) and with the bow which attacks two targets and stops their movement for a short time , i have seen all your other videos as i wanted the information from it , the rune video with the Excel sheet was also really help full ,once again thank you for the information and if ever it's possible to know these effects ,please do let me know , once again thank you

Celestial Barron is considered best for DB, yes. The protection activates faster than Elf

Foon but the increase health is temporary ... lets say i had 100 health n was increased by 50.. i took 30 dmg from the total 150(120remaining)...after the increase effect wears off, do they remove a percentile health of wht it was in the increased phase (120 is 80% of 150 so will my health be 80 when the effect wears off ) or they will remove whole chunk tht was increased n i get -50 from 120 n 70 remaining...?or will only excess 20 remove n get full 100 when effect wears off ?

I'm pretty sure it's like this... [--------------] battle start [---------------------] max health increased [----------------- ] takes damage [--------------] effect wears off Or basically, that the damage is "off the top" and when the effect wears off, it is removing that added "top" bit of health capacity. But even if I'm wrong, the restore health 1) has much smaller percent values and 2) will do nothing if you haven't already taken damage and tanks tend to stay near full health for a while. Confession, I do use the reanimate effect on my tank-mage. But I'm a bit of a rebel doing so. The universal advice is that Increase Health is the best tank armor soul in all circumstances.

@@foonhc thnx foon, one more thing... the mage's weapon skills like splash dmg or additional dmg n stun to some1.. is it triggered only when the mage's basic atk lands or its triggered in its own without basic atk just like the artifacts being triggered according to its cd.. :) m confused coz mage skill r mostly written once in a while rather than a certain % chance of triggering like tnks or archrs !

"If you quit, that money really was just thrown away." Really like the videos, but this sounds a lot like the sunk cost fallacy. From my pov, it's better to think of any money spent as buying temporary entertainment. That way you don't feel like you can't walk away.

I meant it a different way... not that once you spend the money, you cant quit. I meant that if you spend so much that you feel the hobby has become problematic for you and you must quit, then that money was thrown away. People mostly quit because either the game is taking too much time or too much money.

Skirmisher? What is that, how do you get it?

Skirmisher is a Talent, obtained through tomes. It provides the following, "The shots fired by the fighter cannot miss their target and deal 75% more damage." I recently switched from Ranger to Skirmisher and the damage increase was huge.

For incinerator the main thing is the dino wand with the magic rune. Beyond that, you want to increase Spell Power to super charge her. And the other gear, there is a lot of flexibility between which of your mages you give all the best mage gear to. Cheers :)

I use speed rune. It makes the timing with the artifact work nice together to keep the DB protected.
