I've been selling on ebay for 15 years, since I was a senior in HS, the site is dying. The views, watchers, and sales are WAY DOWN. From 2017 to last year I sold 3-4 items a day, this year its like 3-4 items a week. The sneaker authentication program is a disaster, I've had a bunch of shoes rejected for being "fake" or "used", only to sell them as new on Goat and have them pass without a problem. Still not getting paid for items - sold a pair of $550 shoes last week and was supposed to be auto-paid, but never got paid. Had 2 more non-payers this week and a chargeback. Also can no longer sell to international buyers because shoes that have to be authenticated can't get shipped outside the US. Thats a significant % of customers gone.

I would disagree with you on the Anthropologie Eleveneses brand. Just sold a jacket from this brand for over $100. I’d say it’s still worth picking up, but make sure to do comps. 😊

I want to like a eBay, but I feel they make it so difficult! I’m curious to get your take on a couple of things. -If you state that you do not accept returns, have tons of pictures, measurements, the brand size chart, etc. eBay will still side with the buyer, and force you to accept the return. I have had this happen a few times. Why even let you think you have the option not to accept returns? -Giving the buyer so long to pay. It takes your item out of availability for a LONG time.

I wouldn't worry about returns as long as you are careful with pictures and describing the condition. I list about 5 items a day with about 500 items in my store. I only get between 5 -10 returns a year even though I sell hundreds of items.

eBay annoys me , if you make an offer you have to pay right away. I buy expensive purses and sometimes I need a few days to pay

Each seller sets their own time frame for payment on whether they require payment immediately or not. For high priced items most of the time sellers will require immediate payment because they don't want the people who make offers and never pay and then the inventory just sits there.
