Edinburgh Woolen Mills is a great brand - all those Scottish and Icelandic woolen brands are good. The sheets could be washed and donated to animal shelters/vet offices.
@dmreddragon62 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you mentioned donating the sheets/linens I was going to mention that too.
@heathermurray99392 жыл бұрын
Wash the sheets and donate to families in need, as people are not aware that a lot of people don't even have bed sheets, if they do have some, they only have 1 set ,so if it is in the washing machine, they won't have anything until it's dry. If you come across bra's, wash & donate to families in need as a lot of teenagers and women don't have a correct fitted bra or don't have one

Yes, please donate those sheets to animal shelters!

That’s an awesome idea for the animal shelters!
@alysonbowler9040 Жыл бұрын
Great idea - but just ask first if they take them. Lots of shelters prefer towels, because they don't take as much time and energy to wash and they're more absorbent. Definitely consider homeless shelters and transitional housing, though. They usually need sheets.

The box of sweaters could literally have come from my mom's, my sister's and my closet in the 80's! We really knew how to rock a gaudy sweater back then. LOL. Nice purchase! Sweaters are sold by fabric. Vacuinas wool is the most expensive, Mohair 2nd strongest wool fabric, Alpaca is luxurious, Raven hair is exotic. i won"t list any of them less than 70. Patterns, uniqueness,weight of item is the price determinant.all those icelandic or anything made in uk, irish scotland is top dollar. my alpaca sells over 80 always.

How exciting to come up with 6000+ dollars worth of items and possibly a great bit more because you average on the downside when you really had no idea that you would even come up with anything when you open those boxes!! I know you thought some of the sweaters were not that cool but I could tell that somebody had traveled out of America to get those sweaters and they definitely were worth more than 20 or $25. As for the plastic sunglasses, consider donating those to preschools or grade school classrooms especially come spring because there’s a lot of children that cannot afford even a pair of sunglasses and what a great Easter gift. Please don’t throw away those sheets as they undoubtedly can be used for it any number of places search is animal shelters or orphanages with infants etc. I love your show and I love that we got to see you a little one. I love that your husband dared to put on a pair of the sunglasses😊♥️ such a great character and help to you❣️❣️❣️❣️

There are so many people who like unique patterns in big cities (Tokyo in my case), the sweaters will certainly sell. I think the key is reflecting quality on pricing. The most outlandish ones will sell to people in the performing arts. My late mom had some of those, and they were appreciated by musicians and actors.
