Just played a game of Swain mid against a Syndra. Since I didn't have confidence in my ability to win the lane, i tried cooking with the runes, the default Conqueror page with Cash Back & Jack of all Trades. It turns out it's surprisingly easy to stack it. Boots + Lost Chapter + D.Ring gets 5 stacks, and percentage stats are treated as unique to flat ones (move speed, lethality, magic pen), so Cryptbloom & Sorc's give separate stacks for example. While I tried to build around the rune, I was unaware at the time that % stats were considered unique and that the new Abyssal Mask was incompatible with Cryptbloom, and the game ended at 8/10 stacks, 9 if I finished Shadowflame. A hypothetical build to max it as fast as possible could be something like Malignance/Blackfire, Mercs for the most unique stats out of any boots, Cosmic Drive & a mixed resist item like Locket or Jak'Sho, stacking it with 3 items. If you want different boots, you would need an extra item like Cryptbloom to get the 10th stat, thankfully the component gives the %mPen so it would be obtainable half built. Not knowing the ins & outs of the rune, I didn't optimize it well so idk if this would actually be ideal, especially at competent player elo, but it was fun.

Yes. This is what I've been saying. You get swain with an engage or an ad like senna and it's game over for the other team.

algo, i feel like what is also very strong on naut supp as swain is you cover both angles for the enemies you can hit them if they stand inside the wave easy with E but they also want to hide in their minions from naut hook so it just makes it naturally easier to hit your E's and get them favourable trades for you goin

I like swain apc alot because in theory you get more stacks so you can build a bit more dmg without losing tankiness

You need an engage or an Ad support. Healing support is pretty much the worst thing to get from my experience

Husum my goat, the bot lane early 2v2 fights are always so fun to watch, just watching them think they have a chance lol Also, Blackfire Torch or Malignance? They both feel really good, to the point where I almost never run double mana runes now, but I've no idea which one's better...

Hell yeah more OSRS music let's go Do you play it or just like the music? It's honestly my main game currently. I've heard Swain Bot can be surprisingly good with Nami! IDK if it persists out of Low-Elo territory, but her effects trigger on spells too iirc!

i think Flash + Ghost is still his strongest sums. To me the Ghost change barely makes a difference. At least in bot lane you have the advantage over 80% of the roster when you hit 6 so i only really have to use Ghost when there's a teamfight going on.

You need the right comp. I feel like it's just not as good as it used to be though. With someone like samira it's good though. Swain is also really good agsints samira because you can just freeze her in her ult with your e.

Swain APC is best, not only because you have twice the people to drain with your ult, stack with your passive and burn with blackfire. But because compared to every other laner. ADC players have some of the worst positioning and macro I've ever seen. Happy hunting General.
