The hero of Rumtour is the owner Georgiy Oleynik (marketing director). In episode IMR698: 10 years ago, Georgiy acquired a plot of land on the territory of an abandoned old highway (Khomutovsky tract) and built a house out of Siberian cedar log and brick in just 3 years. The two-story country house is done in the style of a nobleman's hut with a real stove and fireplace. Georgiy will show every corner of his house, honestly talk about the necessity of a bed on the stove and balconies, controversial decisions, and materials. And we will also take a look at the retro car parking lot and the bathhouse on pile foundation. All the details in Rumtour 😉
The project's highlights include:
- house architecture,
- stove-fireplace with a single chimney,
- bed on the stove,
- storage under the stairs,
- interior items and art from travels,
- bathroom behind a glass partition.
The interior is done in an eclectic style.
House design by Georgiy Oleynik and architect Konstantin Fomin.
