Hutch is smart, Summit gave him some good advice a while back and Hutch took it serious and acted on it. Summit told Hutch he needs to diversify what he does and not put all his energy in to NoPixel because he has little control over what can happen in NP. If they ban him and he is NP streamer only he loses his revenue stream. He has done a good job diversifying what he streams to the point that its given him a level head when here in Prodigy.

summit also knows that viewers watch him because of him. 50k people would watch Summit FOR HOURS!!! while he hid on a pirate ship. You can be successful streaming as long as you are funny and worth watching. At that point it doesn't matter what you play. A ton of NP cops/crims only do that so they take everything that is said or done as a personal attack. I also feel like for awhile NP's cops were out of control because they wanted to stir shit up. Yeah they would bitch about chat hoppers and shit but in reality they wanted that. Chat hoppers get some views and maybe some subs out of it. So it made sense to fuck with Summit for 2 hours because he has 20k people watching

He forced his way onto the yacht while a job was active and under the impression only 2 people were doing the job he made a horrible judgement call. Summit even gave his 2 cents

Agreed. I also think the cops on NP started looking at cop work as a job like real cops do. I think after years on the job it grinds them down much like real cops and they get jaded and tired and over it. Crims too everyone is just negative and looks at in game stuff like it’s a job they don’t want to go to every day. It started to reflect the dreary nature of real life too much.

I disagree with the statement that NP is almost three years old. There have been numerous significant updates throughout the years. For instance, they have changed the bank system 3-5 times, introduced the casino and oil rig, and updated new game-changing businesses. They also introduced the farmers market, which was later replaced with Stores, and introduced the boosting system which was a game changer and made people grind harder. To say that NP is only three years old is inaccurate because everything has changed in those three years. You can even say that financially there have been wipes for certain groups. CG had it, GG is having it right now, GSF and BSK have it on a regular basis.

When np 3.0 came out it was good but after awhile it got very boring because barely any content was in the server, even rn its boring. This new server has so much more content, hell this server has a shit ton of jobs. Np has what? Hunting, toying and working at a restaurant? Nopixel takes their content out of the server all the time because “itll create more rp” 😂 np is definitely abt to die. Np needs to add a lot more content to stay alive. Ive enjoyed prodigy a lot more than np 2.0 and 3.0.

I found this discussion to be very helpful as I started roleplaying (RP) on NoPixel back in 2.0. Unfortunately, I quickly realized that my RP style wasn't fitting in well with the other players. I created a character named Ulle Yoint who wasn't a criminal or a cop, but even as a law-abiding citizen, I found that the other NoPixel players didn't seem interested in RPing with me because I wasn't involved in any criminal activity. While I understand that the game is called Grand Theft Auto, some of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I had were interacting with non-criminal and cop characters back when the game first came out. I thought it would be fun to RP as a civilian, but unfortunately, it seems that the other RP players on NoPixel aren't interested in that kind of RP. I feel Prodigy RP would welcome my style of RP but, once again who is making the servers popular... the biggest gange from NoPixel. What I am suggesting is that gangs and cops are overpowered on most servers as it should be because the game alone is a Crime Simulator. But, once you implement RP it can becomes everything sims. It would be beneficial for civilians to get ahead too by having certain task perks as well. If servers provided these perks, it could prevent gangs from dominating and causing cops to be aggressive towards everyone.I propose implementing a program that rewards individuals who abstain from criminal activities and perform Good Samaritan tasks with increasing bonuses from the state over time.

people need to realized every server start out like this. everyone enjoying themselves and focus on the RP. but once they become complacent, they revert to the default of interaction. and for a career that spend 10 hrs a day playing the same game, nearly everybody will become complacent. it happen in early nopixel WL, in nopixel green, in echo, in ignite and chances are in prodigy. if they can keep this mental state up for 3 months, than maybe it something unique.

Rping with other gangs is bound to bring conflict its normal. Then people will grow grudes and hatred for other gangs which is normal and they will stop interaccting and rping. On a new server, it new people, no grudes etc. It the same when viewers. When viewers and strmers meet new people, they have nothing against them so it looks nicer to intreact with them

I agree with some of what he's saying but disagree with a lot of other. The big thing being, criminals nowadays will overplay their one character. I remember back in the day when the RP servers were small, you didn't have so many "crim jobs" or mechanics for "content" to have a good time. People still came up with their own content. That was because most people were talented and had multiple characters. Nowadays, everyone plays their one character, a crim main or cop main, and just stand around with long periods of silence. They also lack any character personality. Back then you had characters that had flaws and would RP those flaws and be more willing to "lose" in situations, because it would create more RP, etc. Even the cops had personality, you had people like Sur Lee, Frank the Tank, etc. A lot of cops and crims nowadays are more focused on the shooting aspect, rather than the RP, and they're less likely to be open to take the L unless they feel like it. A lot of people nowadays are less likely to go along with RP unless they had a say in it.

It's early but I'm afraid of Prodigy turning into NP already. Originally I thought it would be cool if other NP streamers (not CG) join Prodigy but seeing Dean, Nunu, Ming, and I'm hearing possibly Patar joining Prodigy, it concerns me. They are all already linking up with CG and it's as if nothing has change since NP. One thing that makes Prodigy great is the new faces and CG having absolute no connections/allies on the server.

Do u know what RP servers in general need? more frequent resets. now hear me out, amma compare RP to path of exile lol. path of exile would be shit if there was no resets every 3 (now 4) months. pople have done it all and things get stale. half of the enjoyment CG is getting now is mostly connected to starting over. its exciting, so many things to do, ppl to meet. more frequent resets gives people new things to do, new ppl to meet, new characters to creat (or keep).

I mean, he's talking about content as if its an MMO, not about RP. Basically just grinding boost/robbery/crim levels like an MMO Driving around in circles waiting for cotent is cause they don't RP anything, doing server mechanics is not RP. Even public server NP have more RP than grinding content now there's nothing wrong with doing that, but a RP server is probably not want you want if all you want is doing content and mechanics. There are GTA online servers or content servers that work like mmos they just need to mix it up, don't just do only content but also try and RP other things than crime. Heck, try and use content to facilitate RP instead of chasing the level up on the laptop, accept Ls and so on. now he's completely right about ppl being tired of the same server and rp'ing with the same people for years though. People need to make new characters and interact with new ppl instead of blaming the server. A lot of RP out there to engage with or start yourself.

Honestly, most people on RP servers aren't there to RP. They're just typical gamers that happen to be in a RP server. The moment they have an established friend group on the server. All they look forward to are new mechanics, the grind and new goals to work towards. Not actual RP, like creating characters, the improv/acting part, creating storylines, interactions and developing new relationships with various characters. While it is one of the reasons why things get stale quickly. I don't fault them for doing so, because hanging out with friends and treating it like a mmo game is comfortable, and they have to do this daily for 7+hours. It's inevitable to became complacent, and just go through the motions. But yeah, they should try going outside their bubble and challenge themselves. It's good to mix things up, expand and diversify.

I don't fully agree with all the takes here. I mainly agree with it being 5 years for example for people on NP and them getting tired of the same thing. That's imo their biggest issue and not the lack of things to do. Because good content creators will always find things to do and not just wait on methruns while driving around.

Almost none of what he's describing is "role play".. it's chasing mechanics for content. There's an audience for that and that's cool. Zero hate. Just saying there's mechanical content and then there's actual RP. Hutch seems to want whitelisted GTA online. Either way getting content and views is what it's all about.

They are not getting paid for it. Loaded owns this server. It's a management company that gets paid by the streamers for bringing them sponsorship etc. They play in prodigy because their management company owns it and they have a big voice in it like setting up rules and balances.

I don't get whats so great about Prodigy. It feels like a NP clone with the same type of crime but just a few more things on the server for the crim side. I watched a bit of CG and it seems like typical NoPixel things that also happen there. Group of crims boosting, then doing some weed, then doing some house robberies, back to boosting, shooting another gang up, back to robbing something, throwing money in VU to clean money, back to boosting. I don't get why peoples minds are blown. Quality of RP also doesn't seem that amazing. Most crims they interact with feel very monotone and dry. Lots of the cops that go along with what CG does because its big and famous CG and the server is owned by their management so they get treated like royalty. Its like how Buddha gets treated like a king on NP. IDK seems just as dead to me as NoPixel.

Honeymoon faze. Np community is trash and the more that pours in, the faster it becomes a dumpster fire. We have literally seen it multiple times already. All the groups are staying the same that came from np and all these streamers still have the same personality issues. More "content" but everybody acts the same way in a new city ..... none of these guys know how to rp without trying to make it "comical" every other sentence.
