After a bunch of detours, I finally get to work on the Firewall Restoration. I sand the center down to bare metal to smooth it out.

Did the same on my 84 Monte,also swapped the ac/heater box for heater only just for a cleaner look,plus I got a smoken deal for it,there hard to find

Well, it's still there with no issues. Of course the car hasn't moved because it doesn't run yet, so hard to tell. This is the same stuff some use for the quarter panel to roof seam, so I guess it should be fine.

I have a 1984 El Camino, my AC works great, however, the center dashboard blower flap/door won't open to deliver cold air. Top and bottom blows great cold air. What is the fix?
