I think ROSmth should have been Federally funded in the 70's. They saved this Nation Billions in potential mental health expenditures. You know how many young, soon to be citizens ,would have lost their marbles without these sounds? Especially with the proliferation of booze and drugs. Some ugly sh#t coulda gone down. Most importantly they kept future warriors alive and breeding I think they're still owed some kind of kickback.😂 Nobody touched them when they were on their "A game". For sure no band out grooved them. Most honest bands will throw the towel in on that .😂✌️

you obviously never saw them in the early-mid 70s when they were unforgivably sloppy live. Yes, I know it was drugs etc, but when you got 15,000 kidds laying out their hard earned money they deserve better

Brad Whitford has always been my dude in a contest between Joe Perry and himself. Mr. Whitford is the one member who is a trained musician. I have seen Aerosmith since I was in middle school till the "Pump "tour when they started hiring writers for the band. I saw them 8 times, and Whitford was smokin hot and Perry was messy. J.P. does come up with killer riffs though!! That is Brads weak spot; writing.

Wow lol ; Legacy[edit] Long after its release, "Last Child" continues to see regular airplay on rock radio stations and is regularly rotated into Aerosmith's concert setlist, even on their latest tour. In concert, it is often Brad Whitford's feature spot, in which Steven Tyler gives him an introduction with something like "Brad Whitford, what do you got to show for yourself?" or "What do you got up your sleeve?" Brad often does a little bit of an intro before playing the opening notes to the song. Although it is often assumed that the guitar solo as heard on the studio recording was played by Aerosmith lead guitarist, Joe Perry, it has also been rumored to have been played by an uncited (hired) guitarist. During his appearance as a guest on That Metal Show in 2012, Brad Whitford stated that he'd actually written and performed the solo himself. "Last Child" has also been re-released on numerous Aerosmith compilations including Aerosmith's Greatest Hits, O, Yeah! Ultimate Aerosmith Hits, and Devil's Got a New Disguise as well as numerous live collections including Live! Bootleg, Classics Live II, and A Little South of Sanity.
