Hi there! The sensor is placed 50cm from the corner in a sauna to ensure it accurately measures the average air temperature. Corners often have higher heat due to limited airflow and radiant heat from walls, which can give a misleadingly high-temperature reading. By positioning the sensor away from the corner, it captures a more representative temperature of the sauna's environment :)
