Ex-convict David was working as a cab driver when he came across an attache case filled with money and important papers. He returned this to the owner, who took pity on him and hired him as a driver for his daughter, Cheska. David was driving the car when Cheska was kidnapped. The kidnappers also took him along. Because of his police record, many people thought David was indeed guilty of the crime and he became the object of a massive manhunt. Though nearly desperate, he exerted all efforts to save Cheska and proved his innocence.
