Really good explanation of the inner workings of a scroll compressor. This is why having good installation practices of deburring, brazing with nitrogen, and doing a good evacuation is so critical. Great video!

When I was an apprentice.. decades ago the guy I trained under made me break down the compressor being replaced.. generally semi hermetics.. and find things like piston pitting, sleave cuts, valves busted.. we would course correct depending on what I found.. back then copper plating was a thing, haven't heard that term in years.. copper plating back then meant acid.. great video, sent it to my apprentice
