Constant velocity only for Main duct and branch duct maximum velocity not more than 500 fpm. Good Video.

You are right...constant velo method can't apply for all...branch can be 600 fpm

W.Salam, According to flow (CFM) we decide or finalized the duct size. If you want to know the method of duct size calculation according to flow then watch this video.

We can use Friction method in Main duct and velocity method in branched ducts for all the projects. right ? .Nice topic.

Yes you can take odd number but even number is comfortable for division or remember or reading. Normally duct and accessories used in even number
