I get a lot of 2 wire issues where I live due to rodents, there are times I was blown away by a contactor taking out fuses, ohmed out just like a new contactor, no issue with the 2 wire yet it kept blowing fuses, changed the contactor and fixed. Had this happen to me twice, any tips?

Daniel Cortez I think sometimes the contacts on the contractor go bad, stick or start arcing maybe.

@VeryPersian7 жыл бұрын
At 10:00 you mention positive and common. I thought it didn't matter how you hooked up the 24v wire of the contactor? They are often not marked on new transformers.
@stevenlavimoniere7 жыл бұрын
yes it does matter if you have 2 transformers hocked up to same line .if it sparks when touching =switch wires or you will fry them .

Had a call that this lady had birds in her duct work. I just grabbed my small bag. Meter and a couple but drivers. She has 4 5 ton gas packs on the roof and a 2 ton split wine cooler. When I went to the 2nd floor in the bathroom and the bedroom you could hear birds chirping. I get up on the roof and go to remove the duct cover when the momma raccoon comes out from under the cover. She’s pissed growling hunching down. She wants me gone right now. I’m not feeling very welcome at this time. All I have is my little bag. Do I throw the whole bag or things one at a time? The raccoon takes off running and I head for the roof hatch. I get downstairs and the lady asks me if it’s bad. I say it’s much worse than we thought. You need animal control. Did you known how similar baby raccoons sound like baby birds. Lol true story.
