When you were washing the coil cleaner out, I didn't see that dark dirty water coming out, It looked like all you did was take some discolorization off the aluminum. Couldn't you have cleaned the dust out with a CO2 bottle. Using coil cleaners every year comprimises the copper and aluminum , shortening the life of the unit.

Trane dual layer coils are a real bitch to clean. You have to pull them apart to clean properly. Good vid. My customer today wanted to know what cleaning coils consisted of. I will let him watch this.

just a thought. You should be wearing rubber gloves and goggles and even a rain coat. Nu Bright is really bad on skin and eyes! Be safe

Looks like a hail storm got the coil.

I always laugh at AC guys wasting there money and destroying the customers condenser coil with that garbage. That is a 50TJ090 roof top package unit. The coil is only a single row. High pressure water is all you need. That coil cleaner that you used will only make the coil brittle and fall apart in years to come. I have seen new units destroyed in less than 3 years from coil cleaners.
