The way she talks about her feelings and worries truthfully makes me really believe how genuine she is as a person. She's a highly talented hardworker, but she's still very human. Many people adore and look up to her, yet now she's being so open about how much she suffered during the album making and how she found herself again. I’m becoming such a huge fan of Hwasa. I’ve been following her for a while but this album made me realise the incredible beauty of this woman. I’m also 25 and I’m also experiencing a hard time. Her personality and approach to life are the reasons that made me feel a special connection with her. Other than being happy for her for getting through that difficult stage of life, this video also made me think of my own circumstances, and I'm very grateful for it. What she said about being overly obsessed with a craft you're trying to perfect really does happen. Sometimes we work ourselves too much that we forget to stop and check on our mental health. Reaching for success and working hard on your passion is important, but your mental state is what drives you, so don't go too crazy with work. Hwasa is such a strong, persistent, and confident woman. Lia Kim, Tina Boo, and Yeji Kim from 1 Million Dance Studio in Seoul, South Korea choreographed the title track Maria. The choreography was so, so good and Hwasa nailed it. Each song on the Maria EP is different and the whole EP is so good. Fact: Maria is Hwasa's baptismal name. When Hwasa said she is happy, that made me happy. The happiness, mental, physical, emotional health of an artist/idol is very important.

To be honest, I felt sad and uncomfortable when I watched the pre-interview before, I was so deep into kpop where almost every idol probably don't know the real meaning of their own songs and mvs(even mmm to some extent have said this in wind flower teaser and some other mvs), so when I watched something so raw and filled with real feelings of an idol who actually have contributed A LOT in her own song and mv(a very sad and have depressing tone like maría), I felt it was almost foreign and there's this choked up feelings I felt when watching that pre-interview video. Now that Hwasa said that she's happy, I felt relieved. I'm so thankful that there's a follow-up like this video to that pre-interview video. So thank you so much to whoever that have the idea to do this project. I hope my girls will be happy, but still honest like this when they feel down. It needs a lot of courage to be this honest though, but, I would much rather to see this more often so that I will not feel that foreign feelings again when I witness my idols raw feelings and thoughts.
