I will admit I was initially worried about Wheein coming to a new company, but after the last few months and seeing how well she's being treated by The L1ve compared to RBW, I couldn't be more thrilled with them! Is it tho? The MV getting views means relatively nothing if the listeners don't actually do anything after that. In comparison Redd has a decent amount of views and streams on spotify. While I know spotify isn't the only streaming platform it does give a decent picture of how well the song is doing. A lot of people may be watching the MV but I doubt any of them are listening to the song more than once since Make me happy hasn't even broken 200k on spotify.

@@ownhero3466 In his previous company, in his first two solo releases they limited themselves to releasing physical copies of the albums (easy and soar), with no promotion. Part of that null promotion was because Wheein was not feeling well emotionally (anxiety). With the release of Redd, his previous comeback, a little more effort was seen in his promotions from the company. That's what was happening with Wheein before he changed companies for his solo career.

Only in this way can she be happy and content, healthy and give her artistic nature the freedom to go where it wants. Then it's real, I mean authentic, and even more it appreciates the right people, the ones it really appeals to. I'm happy when she says she has plans and wants to try lots of things. That she knows what's good for her. And one by one she unpacks one thing after another. It seems like she has found herself, trusts her artistic self and feels comfortable with the path she wants to take. You can see that and many see it because it glows, it blooms. It always shines when it lives its destiny. That's how I interpret this album. That's what makes it so beautiful. It's just an interpretation. I'm going with to be happy, what's it about. This is what a budget looks like. It reminds me of De Una Vez by Selena Gomez, especially the one take pattern, the floral set, the dinner table, the first scene where the graphic zooms out of her laying on the bed. So pretty. Watercolor MV is beautiful, but it’s just a few sets with a little bit of choreography. The amount of symbolism and the way it looks like a one take really says a lot about this. I love Wheein more than ever for being so sensible. She has always been smart but she proved to be smarter than ever by taking this decision that I didn’t even know was possible. She smartly left the company who are scared of losing money but didn’t leave her group’s side (She didn’t leave Mamamoo, she just won’t do any sponsorship with RBW and solo projects like the other members but will continue with the group till 2023) I wish her all the success and hope she gets a win with this beautiful song 🦋 🌸

Exactly! And for a company that just started out THEL1VE has done exceptionally well. I hope with this successful comeback, they invest even more in Wheein (and hopefully a 4K video next time 🙈) I think they're smart enough to realize that the more they invest in her, the more they'll succeed! @@aahoop6390 exactly, I’m a B could be so much more than what they made it too. RBW song production is good, there’s no doubt in it, but their promotion production budget is just sad at this point. RBW isn’t the worst company and is indeed a lot better than Cube, but they could be the worst in promoting. Easy is my favorite Wheein solo even today but it’s sad that we didn’t get to see its promotion just because it wasn’t “successful” enough to RBW. They didn’t even try to promote it. Same with Wind Flower. And then came Goodbye, same case. Eclipse too, atleast Moonbyul was able to perform it. Solar’s first solo project in RBW also. I’m so happy to see how Wheein’s TheL1ve debut mv turned out. Such a beautiful music video.

@@like_euphoria ah yes. The mess that was Guilty Pleasure's promotion. I honestly felt so SO bad for Hwasa. She was rushed (probably to save stupid rbdumb's asses with the investors. Like her news was legit released around the same time...and then the actual process was a whole month later. They just hurried out with the news and then in BTS we can see Hwasa was rushed into promoting it) They've been screaming how the company isn't dependant on MMM but they're still to this day known as MAMAMOO's company. If they were smart, they'd invest more and not less. And yes, their music production is so good and they have an eye for talent hence all their groups but why oh why do they suck so much at promoting 😭

This mv is quite artistically directed and planned Wheein released a short clip on twt during watercolor cb Where there's a transformation of a magnolia flower to a bird then into a red ball and then finally into a butterfly All of these symbols relate to her albums In a Sequential order Hence right now, she's in her prime form the butterfly where she's free and allowed to whatever she wants In the watercolor mv there were frames but with no paintings in it Now she herself is the art piece As you move on with the mv you see that number of butterflies keep increasing that implies that right now she's free from all the shackles that were once holding her down *cough *rbw* cough* She isn't that type of a person that'll catch your attention first( as I've noticed) But just being with her for a long time you'll realize that her work isn't something she planned on the spot or just for aesthetic appeal but it has a meaning, one that would take your sleep away just to decode it Kudos to her and of course the1ive It's a beautiful song

Like Moomoo's having to beg for subtitles for international fans, them not acknowledging that the groups achievements helped the company out of debt, them never having a proper world tour even though they've had a lot of international success, lack of promotion for WAW and not having properly prepared forThe Best Album pre-orders, the rush and lack of promotion of Hwasa's Album. These are just somethings that are more publicly known, but of course we don't see/know everything behind the scenes and they are a smaller company, so that plays a factor.It comes down to research and opinion.

Past exclusive streaming deals with niche domestic services instead of more accessible+monetizeable ones like KZbin or Naver doesn't help. - Bad scheduling and consideration for member's health. F/W concert moved to an earlier date before all Four Seasons songs released + no rest after just finishing comeback promotions, Solar performing with injured back, university tours on the same day as stage performances in the early days, etc. - The WAW online concert mess. No prior promotions before ticket sales, few public events, tried moving the content from Mamamoo's official channel to RBW, which had an almost 60x reduction in subscribers (6mil vs 100k) -Occasionally botched solo promotions. Sometimes no lead up, no follow up with guest appearances on shows. I'm a B
