In India since 2014 either judges make laws nor law makes the judges it BJP PM Modi and HM Amit Shaw made both the judges and laws. As both Law and Judges are made by these Gujaratis politicians and two Gujarties corporates ruled both

From Bangladesh., Lot of things here to learn. Infact I was laughing when your making points and counter points. If any Judges of India or Bangladesh watch this episode, they certainly will get some morale instinct in it. Sometimes I wonder, how a enlightened & educated Middle Class citizen of India tolerate all this in the name of religions. Good one Sir. Love from Bangladesh.

Good questions asked. But you see as long as there's no one to question the SC's ways all this will continue to happen. It took 26 years for the city civil court just to say that the petition is dismissed. The way justice is delivered in our country is really woeful.

Ajit, when there are judges, against and pro government, where is justice. That's why they say law is an ass. Just imagine, persons against whom there are cases against them get elected go into parliament and the state legislature and Make Laws. This defiles common sense.

Nice editorial by Sujit, with very interesting story of two kingdoms . In both the kingdoms, robbers were looting money from rich and distributing to the poor. But, what is happening in India to-day is quite opposite, poor are being looted to benefit a few rich people. The judiciary is thoroughly exploited by a few judges in giving the judgements in favour of the govt. Gone are the days, where judgements were free, fair and unbiased.

Like the 'Kings' in your editorial, Judges too ,though well versed in law,but in the final analysis, also being human beings, have their own preferences and predilections, though well intended.Hence, maybe, the conflicting judgements. I went to school in the 70's snd 80's. This takes me back to my school days. Several teachers, armed with canes and wooden rulers, assumed the role of the judge + executioner combo. Sometimes they got bored with the weapon, and relied on their skills as a physical trainer. Cases could go either way or even be dismissed if he or she was in a good mood. In some cases, both parties were found guilty. In some other cases, the whole class was found guilty by virtue of judgement scope extension. It depended on the teacher and the phase of the moon, and we had learnt to accept it as the final verdict.
