Clear and precise. Was trying to figure out what other options that I have for juggle starters. Saving this to try at least a few of these. I would love to have at least 1 90+ damage combo. Right now, I can pull of a 62 damage combo consistently, with an extra hit landing me at 68, but I am still learning that combo. I just made this one up, so it’s not as high damage but it’s easy to pull off.

only combo i've ever taught myself was (// = or) B3(LEFT)//SR//JFSR + 4444 + U/F + 344 because of how easy it is to pull off. does basically no damage but my brain literally will not let me do combos. i see a 1 input, i press 3. i see 4, i press 2. i don't know why or how, but i CANNOT do most inputs. i can't even beat combo challenges because i keep pressing the wrong buttons even though i know exactly what i need to press.

@@joogled1839 If it's of any help, I had the same major issue, it was alien to me, wrong inputs. I only worked around it by learning to use each different move seperately and randomly in matches. Essentially, once I was just able to do the move on its own randomly on the fly, was I able to try string it into a combo. If you're anything like me, you kinda just need to understand that each button is a sequence and it becomes confusing to just do visual maths every time, so just learn to use the move on its own, randomly use it often, and then when you're comfortable just doing it, you're like oh yeah So i just do this move and then this move after ( For example his Back 3 launcher into right stance 3-4 and from then on the rest etc). So yeah just use the moves on their own, memorize them as 'This move and then this move which I already know how to do intentionally' and then you'll be able to finally put it into a combo, doesn't take long but it's an effective method for me.

@@Whales1992 thats the other problem. i spent about 20 minutes learning this move for lili, could even do it with my EYES CLOSED. got into a match with my friend, INSTANTLY FORGOT EVERY SINGLE INPUT. im starting to think i should go back to street fighter...

@@Whales1992 i mean BOTH. i think i found the issue though. i played all my other fighting games at a slightly above average level on keyboard/pad. i played capcom fighting games on a leverless and not the saturn controller im using now. i think it feels weird to my brain that im pressing things at a different degree angle instead of flat. i might just get a haute and see how i go.

idk man im trying some of these combos, i do the same inputs correctly and the character does the attacks but it just doesnt reach for me lol, my only guess would be that im not doing them fast enough? but idk im pressing most of them before my character can even do them except the 3+4 stance change after just flame sky rocket

ah i think i know why. Did you not set the bot to do a side ukemi for ground technique? mine gets up faster with it so the legs dont stay mid air as long it seems.. but shouldnt that be expected for combos?.. that the enemy is going to tech roll away faster? idk im new asf to tekken these are the first combos im trying out

what are the best buttons to be set on the R1, R2, L1, L2 keys? i haven't played this game in a while so i am wondering what could be the best option for hwoarang? (assuming we are playing on a controller here). right now, i have 3+4 (change stance), heat, rage and a grab on these buttons. Are these okay? Also, how are these professional players hits that kick (3~4) on right stance so fast while being on the default stance. is there any trick to it?

For me it’s hard to do 3+4 in a combo,I have to press both fingers and slide them to hit 3 and 4 at the same time to do it someone said set 3+4 to a bind when it’s set to r2,when I press r2 it only switches stances

3+4 is the switch to right stance, if you want to do the slide moves you gotta input them yourself 😅 It helped me to just launch the cpu in the lab and try to catch with the 3~4, after a while the input gets very easy buuut then you gotta learn the timing of the 3+4 stance switch mid combo which I think is harder to pull off consistently because you'll just do a different move if you input the switch too early

A trick I use is to hit 3 or 4 and then a fraction of a second later hit the shoulder button you have bound for 3+4. The game reads it as 3~4.

Anyone have any clue why after JFSR, 3+4, [3,4], I can't ever connect Forward 4 or dash Up 3? Most JFSR combos I've seen use these moves and my opponent is always either too far away or too low to the ground for either of these moves to connect.

@@akowasabi I started doing dash forward 2, forward 4 after JFSR, 3+4, [3,4] and it does slightly less dmg than other options it’s very consistent once you get the timing down, highly recommend it.

F4 will only connect after backlash if it was done off of a just frame sky rocket, regular sky rocket will have them fall too quickly

No not really, I used to play Tekken 7 a lot and I only knew some combos of my mains, of course, it would be better if you knew them all but there's more to fighting games than just combos, be it knowing your punishment, movement and improving your gameplay. Just keep at it and you'll improve, you got this.

God no if you don’t use his whole move list yet just find your DF2 B3 and RFF/LFF UF4 combos. The rest will come with time as you get used to flowing through his stances.

white arrow means you only need to tap the direction (though you can hold it in most cases), black arrow means you must hold the direction. The star means neutral. If that is shown, you have to stop pressing any direction.

because its like 2 more damage and the hardest just frame in the game lol. You have to hits 3~4 or 4~3, with the first input being pressed for only 1 frame, then in the exact next frame press the other button. So not only do you have to press the two extremely quickly, but the first input cannot be held for even 2 frames and you cannot accidently press 3+4 in between. Your inputs have to be exactly "3 (1 frame), 4", or visa versa.
