Have done any backroads in and around 70 mile House. There was/is a ranch and campground near a lake. Flying U Guest Ranch was/is.

Yes, I've traveled all over that area with the Forest Service. I did a Watch Lake video on my channel where we drive to Green Lake. I mentioned the Flying U and how they had filmed a Hollywood Cowboy/Western movie there in the 30s or 40s I think it was. I've followed the old original Cariboo gold rush road/trail in around there too.
